Not to ream you OP, but this isn't a dating site (as I admit I have checked out and found many attention whore threads such as this), so please refer to the forum rules for future reference before posting such threads. I have to admit, we have strict mods, but they do their job and this site is by far the most well put together with the most active and best mod team vs any other car forum I have seen Hands-Down. I am not sucking up, but seriously, watch how they keep on top of things and how well our community responds to threads vs other sites. So in regards to all I have mentioned, please do not attempt such a thread in the future, nor anyone else who reads this. perhaps check the OP's original post date |

Actually, it's FMR... front mid-engined. The engine is still between the axles. And the car actually has great weight distribution, 52/48. Ha. You really want us Porsche fans to drive Miatas! The 3rd gen is the closest, but still not truly a mid-engined car. However, both the Miata and RX8 push that envelope to the limit of what is considered mid-engined. Kudos to Mazda. However, in Madmods scenario, he'll need the whole engine behind the driver. My question is.. why not use the tube chassis? Madmods, I'd like to see this car up close. I visit the Phoenix area every so often, and I'll have to stop by for a peek at your Vendetta once its done. Keep up the good work bud. |

Madmods! Your still around too! Damn, dont you have my door panels???? speaking of madmods. I remember when this guy came about on 6gc way back when. I thought to myself that he was just another guy who talks big with no game. I was wrong. Though it may sometimes waiver from my taste, you put in alot of work on your cars and truly have earned your name time over. I just clicked on your link to the Solstice. Crazy, man. I'm glad you kept up the work and please keep it up. I'll be sure to check in for the Vendetta. |

I must of had pretty good timing to match Natalie's own name search. How ya been? Defgeph - you too huh? Damn, 5 years later and you still wont give up that 35 bucks Still have the Celica? Still rocking the Celica Akimbo? At least you have some loyalty. I switch cars every 3 months it seems. And onto some fun. I searched my computer for 6gc and came up with a few pics. I wish Jon was still around to give his input on these. I love old pics - god bless auto-save. Andason and Jon Andason - I have no clue what this is - John and Me Celica Computer Letter from Jon and Jen Natalie Jen with a sweet note Me - disappointed because we took my buddy's Pontiac instead of the Celica at that time. Missed the show because his car broke down in Beloit, Wi - where everyone is safe. back-in-the-day Home |

I've owned all three. MK1 - get it for legacy purposes only. I still love this car MK2 - get for speed and exotic nature. The SW20's 3SGTE is very strong MK3 - get for handling. Note on the MK3. The 1ZZ sucks. However, the 2ZZ (think Lotus, Celica GTS, XRS models, etc) drops right in no problem. A gentleman by the name of Littlerocket makes a shifter adapter for the transmission. You can find him on www.spyderchat.com. If I were to stick with one of these guys, I'd take the spyder. |

thanks for the compliments guys. Yea, the MR-S is sort of a step backwards from the STi. My choices at the time was the STi alone, or the MR-S for fun and a 4-door Golf 1.8T for a daily driver. I choose the latter. I needed storage room to carry product (i sell electronics) and pulling up in a STi isn't the best in that scenario. However, I will say this.... after driving STi's and Evo's for quite some time - the MR-S ----which can be had for less than 10k ---- is just as much fun as the AWD tuner classics of the 2000's. As for the new German kick. Well, I grew older and further more into my business which demands professionalism. The 330XI was a beaut and I loved it. However, I lost my delivery van at the store, and thus it was traded for the X5 so, again, I can carry products if necessary. I feel my next car will be in addition to the X5. Current candidates are the Cayman S and the Z4 M-coupe. However, who knows if I find something before then. I've also owned 2 MK1 MR2s that were to be project cars. Neither turned out to be worth while once dug in and were sold . I'm sure I'll find something to tinker with though. As for the bikes. Those were fun. The latest - 06 600RR - was straight amazing. I however think my next bike might be Ducati's 848 just do to the love I felt during my time at the dealership. Though, as cheap as the 1000RR can be had, it makes me reconsider. Andason was banned thats a good laugh. My only word that follows is "figures" What happened to Coomer and the Yelli-Celi? |

So, I decided to stop by and take a visit. Its been a while. Wondering if some of my old friends still linger around here. I took a peek at the, now, 121 page post-a-pic thread and didn't recognize much. Of course, I'm on page 3 and 4, so who's to blame. Lets do some name drops and see if I get lucky.... Chris Coomer? Natalie? Jen? John (mynzeyes)? Dig Doug? Akimbo? Def Geph? Andason? - If not in jail Supersprint? Amy? Romas (doggy)? Claude (frotou)? and many many more. Drop by if you remember the "Ti" I go by Morgan now, because thats my real name. But for sake of this 6gc account, I'll sign it as so, -Ti |

Hey Chris nice project. Long time no type. I'm glad to see your keeping the car. It was always inspiration for me to DIY on mine. The STi project is coming along nice. I'll have to send you a few links to check out. Are those the power-fold mirrors? I never got to see an end result with those. I'll check back and read up the project thread. Your making me wish I still had my Celica. |

probably not again, unless I have alot of excess money to toss around. However, it will be the car I recommend or purchase for other people. I get asked for help quite often on car purchases. So I still contribute. |

I ordered mine from turboskyjdm@yahoo.com. Very nice guy to deal with and excellent service. I'm unsure if he is still in the market, but he might be able to hook you up. gtschick, yes it has been awhile. I like the pearl paint job and raiser blocks. Looks good. -Ti |

QUOTE(Akimbo @ Feb 6, 2006 - 12:30 AM) A hidden boat? How is it hidden? I dunno. If theres ever a doubt that a boat is out that could beat your Ace high flush I wouldn't have gone with it. I'm a very conservative player. Sweet car though. 3 players went all in. 1 had King high flush (first all in), I had Ace high (call), and the third had 8/3. Pair of 3's on the board, and eight, ten, and king. 3 of the 5 cards were spades. He rivered the 8. But besides that, no one saw a boat. Plus he was last to bet, so I didn't have the chance to read his raise/call. Bad beat, but we all get em. And thanks, I like it -Ti |

Hello friends. Oh its been a while since I've been here. Let do some history. I was the sweet Celica owner about a year ago that everyone loved (John). Since then I've sold my Celica to a guy in Eau Claire, Wi. He putts around on here every once in a while to learn and what not. I bought a MK1 MR2 from MI, but it turned out to be much more work than value, so I gave it up. I also had a maxima right at the end of the Celica career. I sold all 3 cars and got a Nissan SE-R SpecV. Nice car, crappy interior, and wheel spin a SRT4 owner would laugh at. Sold that and thought, "back to Toyota and the end of sports car nonsense". Bought a Rav4. That lastest 6 monthes. Nice vehicle, even was a manual, but boring to say the least. So, I thought again (yes thats two within a year of each other) what has 4 doors, a must, fast a hell, handles like a dream, and reliable.... of course victoria secret sexy as well. So that narrowed it down to one car. The Subaru Impreza WRX STi. 4 door sexy, with AWD, and boost to boot. Thus my current car below. These are the dealership pictures from Grand Rapids, Mi. Long drive, worth it though. So there you have it, the past year history of Ti. Oh, I won 20 bucks because the Steelers beat the spread, but lost it to a hidden Boat even though I had Ace high flush the same night. Luck gets ya in the end. Later sweet Celica friends. -Ti |

Ti is still around - I thought we finally got him to leave) I'm still around suckers. -Ti |

was cool is right. Naruto got boring after the tournament. The fillers and story line is dragged out way too long. They could easily sum up 3 episodes in 1 episode and keep all the viewers excited. But 10+ episodes on a foot race with a filler character with other filler characters with a filler plot is just silly. (episodes 95-105ish) The new "in" is Bleach. Which I have to say is the best show I've ever seen... ever. Bleach is the only anime that has progressed better than its launch episodes. The worst episode is episode one and that one was good episode. Theres 46 subbed eps now and its worth every minute of its download time. Side characters are interesting and have deep plot. Each character is constantly changing (unlike Naruto which has done nothing but Rasengan and Mass Shadow Clone techinque for the last 50 shows) and developing. They touch on characters past for just a few moments once in a while. This gives up detailed background on the character yet it doesn't dive into it like Narutos HORRIBLE flashbacks. If you like Naruto, download bleach. You can get it at "a.scarywater.net"or Bleach7.com Edit: /infomerical - hahahahha -Ti |

I dont mind it unless its in a wrong context. Much like all of aftermarket JDM parts for my Sentra SpecV. Theres really nothing wrong with that except for that the Sentra isn't made in Japan. But I did see this sweet JDM style Mitsubishi Eclipse the other day, that thing was mad tyte! -Ti |
