maybe the workers were on strike when they made my car lol never ending problems with it. had to get the brakes overhauled last wof, rebuild cailpers, new rotors and pads, and of course the bitch of a proportioning valve! now this mmm an TVR is more relible than this celica!!! Thanks delusionz i got a good mechanic he does cashies for me, my family and i know him well ill let u guys know what part failed on me when we pull it apart. Oh btw i had a full wheel aligment yesterday at this tyre place and when i was driving home i noticed a slight vibration coming from the front wheels, like as if both front tyres were low on pressure, surely these guys didnt cause this? |

My cv joint on my drivers side popped out today when i was reversing out of work, steering was on full lock and then the cv pulled out of the Hub and tore open the boot. i jacked up the car and managed to pushed the cv back in BY HAND!!! so i drove it home (SCARYIST THING EVER I MUST SAY) drove fine but pulling into my driveway it popped out again. Can anyone help me? what needs replacing, im guessing the circlip has shat itslef or do i need to replace the whole cv assembly |

HAHA yea good point, celica with a 1.8L engine, forgot bout that one... all we got here in nz is the 3sfe-3sge and of course the 3sgte (HONDA KILLER!) =D Oh whats a good image hosting site? i notice on some post's that pictures are full size and some you need to click on the pic link, whats with that? Hey Rusty i know you well already, seen your build thread all the way through since day 1 NICE CAR BRO! also same with delusionz build (LOVE THAT GT4!) but i must admit i spend most of my time on here looking at mannys builds those projets are CRAZY! makes it look so easy hahaha Ive been thinking of getting more power out of my engine and i know there is like no info on my 3sfe on this site, but can someone tell me if its possible to bolt a early model 3sge head on my 3sfe block? do the have the same block, they got the same bore\stroke and pistions dont they? sorry if this is a nooob question |

Hi all my name is Simon and im a proud new owner of my ss1 celica manual done 170,000kms, well kinda ive had this car for nearly a year now and also very familier about this great site, proved very helpful already! When i bought my car i thought all celica's were the same but soon found out how wrong i was! bad luck was i got a ss1 celica the slowest of them all, oh well i love this car and it drives like a dream, got pics of her in my profile =D only mods i have done since i bought it is pod filter and new free flow exhaust just to give that poor 3sfe engine a bit more power, still see a engine swap in the future mmmmm ss3 beams SO TASTY! All i like to say this is a great site and im glad to finally been a member. Any other Celica owners in New Zealand? will be great to hear from ya. cheers! |
