Still tweak vs the world I see smile.gif

tweak you do excellent work, i have always respected you when these debates come up, im sorry that it seems like Lagos persuaded me not to get the swap done by you, but it was more of a recommendation because of the uniqueness of the swap and the problems that usually arise post swap.

wannabe, you are a very valued member of this community but i think tweak is pretty reasonable on his prices.

it sounds like you have a boost leak, a big enough boost leak could cause a brick wall type feeling when you try to get on the gas quick.

53 on the greddy ebc is 5.3 psi, i was consistently hitting 14.6 psi on the ebc.

not sure what the sound could have been on the turbo, nor do i know how you could have lost enough oil to have an oil pressure drop like that. the car doesnt leak any oil anymore does it? i thought that was fixed.

QUOTE(ILuvMyCelica95 @ Aug 12, 2007 - 11:25 PM)

1. this is really old.

2. i dont think it's all correct. I dont' saw whatever if i think my boyfriend is being a ****ing idiot i say it right out. Maybe i just over communicate, if that's possible.

i dont believe you, sorry smile.gif

women are constantly testing men with what they say, do, etc.

you can communicate well with your significant other but im willing to bet you have been guilty of one of these at some point. they are pretty generic statements.

ill take a common one, guys use it, girls use it, so it has nothing to do with gender.

"i just dont want a relationship right now"

FALSE.

they just dont want a relationship with YOU.

nobody wants to be alone, if they dont want a relationship its because you are lacking something they want in a relationship. this could be conscious or subconscious, but its there.

there is somebody out there that is gonna make that person want to be in a relationship.

rheostat.. lol

id just find the positive wire for a light in your car that dims with the dimmer..

like for our cars if you tap into the light around the cigarette holder your boost gauge will dim with the dimmer..

waste of money IMO, but if somebody wants to prove otherwise (next time you change your oil at 2500/3000 have someone analyze it, they will tell you whether you needed to change it or not.

especially you guys running synthetic, you are just pouring money down the drain.

my audi has been changed every 5k miles , with mobil 1 fully synthetic 0w40. still has like new compression at 140k.

edit: do a quick google search, i found a guy with a bmw who got his oil tested at 15k and it said "suitable for use" and also a guy with a turbo diesel (even harder on oil than gas) at 10k said suitable for use.

the key is the type of oil, dont buy the cheap **** and go for 10k miles, but 99% of the time the interval suggested on the box is not going to do your motor any harm.

everyone has their own opinions, so theres no point in arguing. european chicks are so hot. and they are also super nice.

i went to a party that the lifeguard at my pool had, he is from czech republic. my friends all left me there and i slept on the couch, by the time i woke up one of the girls had cleaned the entire place, made me hot tea, and breakfast.

funny part was, the breakfast was 3 slices of bread, a jar of cream cheese, a jar of jelly, and slices of american cheese. she just said "i dont know which one you like" so to be polite i just had a piece of bread with some jelly on it.

i had a good laugh at how her idea of breakfast for an american consisted of mainly cheese.

i think she should teach a class on how to act, american girls are too bitchy wink.gif

and before you waste your time arguing with me, yes, i know i am completely misogynistic.

however, i love women, i just dont believe in equality between the sexes. we serve different roles in society. women dont want equality either, they just want the positives that would come form it.

its kind of like why the supra is discontinued, the people who wanted it couldnt afford it, and the people who can afford it dont want it.

at any rate, this is a delicious car.

good luck smile.gif

it uses a really thin metal gasket. i wouldnt bother trying to make your own for that.

Wouldn't you be concerned about a potential vac leak? If Toyota went to the trouble of making the gasket oem, I trust there's a reason for it.

he meant wouldnt bother making your own, just go oem.

picked this up on saturday. let me tell you, what a smooth ride, germany really knows how to build cars.

der fuhrer:
IPB Image
IPB Image

IPB Image

pretty much a clean stock ride with potential, exactly what i wanted. the only mods done to it are mods i had planned on doing myself

H&R Springs / Bilstein Struts
Lltek 2 piece E-code (thats german for JDM lol) housings with an OEM HID setup.
Wetterauer Revision 5 1.1 Bar Chip.

awd really hugs the road, not to mention being lowered.

future plans include building the motor and a big turbo, but that wont be for a while.

im really going to miss the celi, well, not exactly MY celica, but the idea of the celica. the swapped celica is by FAR faster than this car, but i didnt buy it for the speed, i bought it for the potential.

now that i have a set of wheels i dont mind showing off, i definitely want to start going to some meets.

also, trying to find a new forum/community to be a part of is hard work! coomer, you do an excellent job making this website very functional and i definitely appreciate that (anyone who wants to scream, check out audiworld.com's forums!)

i really appreciate all the help this site has given me with my celica, especially art, the one and only. he lasted through all of my questions and annoying IM's.

learning a new car/community will be tough, but i definitely want to stick around here.
