Car located in Antioch, IL. 60002. Has newer tires, fuel filter, ignition. Has pretty bad oil leak. Also slight coolant leak and slow brake fluid leak. Brakes work fine. This car runs fine, I just don't have time to hunt down and fix the leaks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Body has scrapes and dents, but not much rust. Good winter beater, project or starter car for someone. I have the stock cassette player, it's just not installed. The stock wheels are just plasti-dipped. Easily washes off. $650 or best. Thanks for looking. |

What sort of problems? +1. Coil inside of dist. cap is nothing new. GM was doing the HEI thing in the '70's. I had a problem with my daughter's 5sfe coil. It cracked when the distributor decided to unwind it's copper wiring inside, but I don't blame it on the coil. Maybe you've had issues that seemed related to the coil, but in fact involved something else? After the distributor incident, I put a junkyard distributor in with a Napa coil and it's been good since. |

+1. That's what it was when I had a code 12. It took out the coil as well. I was broke at the time, so I grabbed a junkyard distributor and a new coil. All was well after that. Check under the cap first as was mentioned above. |

PB blaster helps and take your time with that bottom fitting. It is very easy to twist the soft metal of the fuel line. Just remove the air box and intake tube and you should have a clear shot at it. |

Here is a page with the Toyota part #.http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_1995_TOYOTA_CELICA_AT200L-BLPSKA_8503.html It looks like with a quick search you can get it for about $50-$60. However, I would make sure yours is truly toast first. It is easy to get to, just behind the front passenger wheel well plastic. You can then inspect it to see if there is just dirt in the line. I would check your local junkyard before you spring for a new one. I pulled one from the yard for a forum member a while back and it worked great. And it was only $5. The part stores have aftermarket brands for $10-$15, but these are universal type and make take some rigging to get them to fit. Hope this helps. |

As the title says, this is the storage unit that goes under the factory stereo. $20 shipped (USA lower 48) w/ brackets. We can make a deal if someone wants the brackets or storage box separate. Paypal is preferred. That is dust on the front of the cover and not a scratch or crack. The door and latch work fine. Overall a 9 out of 10. ![]() |

Formula Shell or Havoline 5w30 with an OE Toyota filter. I was impressed with the packaging of the filter with the shrink wrap and lubed gasket. |

Like was said, check the distributor and the coil. In my case with a code 12, my coil was cracked and the copper wiring had unwound itself inside the distributor. Hope this helps. Here is a link for the codes:http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=55403 |

As it is written in the title. I need that bracket please. I wouldn't mind having one either If either of you still need this, I could probably get one at the junkyard. There was a couple 7afe cars last time I went. Let me know. |

Check this thread out. It sounds similar to what you have going on:http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=87295&hl= My experience was just with a code 12, not the other two. In my case, the copper wiring inside the distributor had unraveled itself and took out the coil also. You probably would have noticed this when replacing your coil, however. |

Take the bolt out of a non essential component, like the brakes or steering, and use it. Brakes are for pansies anyways. Something eerily similar was done to my daughter's car. When we first brought it home, I noticed someone had taken the bolt holding the power steering reservoir, and used it to hold one of the mud flaps on. ![]() |

bump in desperate need of it now. only 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear work. I think my electrical tape got melted by the engine block btw I've looked at pick your part and no celica's have popped up. I'll pay an extra $20 to whoever goes out of there way to a junkyard and finds a 94-99 5sfe celica removes the main shifter cables and ships it too me. I'll also pay for the cost of your entrance fee to the junkyard. plz I don't want to pay $150 for just a single cable from toyota ![]() Let me see what I can do. They have one 6 gen at the yard by me, I just don't remember if it's stick or auto. I'll take a look tomorrow for you. How big of a deal is it to get this out? I haven't had to remove one before. Looks like they want $16 for the shifter cable at my yard. I can get pictures of what I'm talking about if you want. I should be able to figure it out. I'll get back to you after I hit the yard. |

The grommet on my daughter's car crumbled in pieces when I tried to change it. A shop vac and some long needle nose pliers will be all that you need. The vac will grab the small chunks, and it will pull the larger bits close enough that you can grab them with the pliers. You can get the grommet at Autozone or whatever's closest to you. Hope this helps. |

Fixed this mess. No, I'm not a redhead, it's what is left of the innards of the distributor off my daughter's GT. Surprisingly enough, I was able to start the car again to get it home after it had initially died. It lit the CEL with a code 12. All in all, not to hard to swap, just had to fight on and off rain all day. ![]() |

Hey gatar11, Your post reminded me of an earlier problem I had in the same area. Check this out as it might be helpful. You might be able to just rebuild your distributor with some new sensors and a coil instead of buying a completely new assembly. Hope that helps. I think the OP fixed his distributor long ago. I brought the thread back from the dead because I had the same issue. I'm broke so I went with a junkyard distributor with a new coil. |
