Yeah I've been doing some random thread reads on any 3sgte swap I can find, and I happened upon someone mentioning that the celica 3SGTE ECU got better programming, and they can setup more power. After mounts, body, and the fact that I have to do an auto to manual swap, the 205 clip is definitely the way to go (thats the 3rd gen engine, right?)

Anyway, I can find the E153 LSD for about 1k (including shipping), but I can't find a source for the axles. Do I just have to go through Toyota directly? Or maybe hunt some junk yards? If I remember right, I'll need the ST205 outters, and the MR2 inners?

I'm planning my 3sgte swap into my 95 ST, and I dont understand why I want the GT4 clip if I want to use the E153 LSD. I know there are alot of other little parts I'd need to source if I get the MR2 clip. Is it a better idea to get the GT4 clip and find an E153 LSD on it's own? I see I'm supposed to, I just don't understand why. (Don't I also need the axles off the MR2 if I use the E153?)

I'm looking into swapping a 3sgte into my 95 ST. I read that the e series transmissions have 1 6-speed version called the EB26. Can this mount up to the 3sgte? Is there anyway to get a 6 speed manual to work? Sorry if this was answered before but my forum searches didn't bear any fruit.
