QUOTE(Boss-Celica @ Jul 29, 2005 - 3:28 AM)
Whenever I drive past 40-45mhp I hear this humming sound from either my rear or front driver side wheel. I am pretty sure its the wheel bearing. I was wondering if our cars need to have the bearing pressed on with a special machine, because my friend said some cars do and some don't. Does anyone know if the bearing needs to pressed on?

Same thing happened with me...ts not pressed on, its screwed on..i fixed mine in my autos shop...my autos teacher had a special socket tool that fit right over the bearing..then with the air gun we tightened and turned it liek a full 360 degrees using pure torque... but my problem was like at about 75mph my front end began to chake a little..then after 85 it was fine...after i tightened the wheele bearing it was perfect

K well my cars exterior is finally complete..iv done a lot in one year...once i get my bros dig camera back from him at college im guna post some pics...should be soon... but any ways

I need to lower my car...with my invader kit.. i scrape a little getting in my driveway..and thats with my stock springs.... im thinking about lowering about 1.5 inches in the rear and the front... im thinking about getting aerospeed coilovers..how do they perform? Will they work with my stock struts or do i need aftermarket struts as well to get a smoother ride...the last thing i want to do is have my car ride liek crap...id rather keep the suspension stock...what do u guys think?

Its really funny - i decided to read this post tonight - as i was very very bored. The guy - Tuan - carries all the traits of a typical scammer - first
He's got a product thats TOO good to be true!!! then he has all the difficult to obtain proof (people recommending his work on another site) Then he has a friend come in and talk up his work (Ivan) does a great job really - i mean its convincing and all, yet he messed up - where did he go wrong ? does anyone know? I know this is useless and he may come back and sell this.. but i highly doubt its a legit product and i did so ever since i started reading the post =)
I am interested to see if people came up with the same conclusion where he messed up as i did
so reply to this!

Check the yellow pages.  There's a speedometer shop in my town (listed under speedometer) and I think they work on those.

while installing my indiglo gauges, i carefully took the cluster out. When taking out the needles, after everyone saying dont pop the needles out, i had to go ahead and do it. I tried to be carefull but  the black blastic cover on my mph gauge  wouldnt come off. So i ended up accidentally pulling the whole needle off as  i watched the thing inside wind down all the way. I then tried to rewind it but it isnt working. Now im sitting here with no gauge cluster and an mph gauge that doesnt move...Can somebody please help me...

wow AEM for celi.....If i am positive thsi would fit, i would deff purchase...

Today i was thinkin and i started wondering.........would u get more performance out of an intake that lets say extended out straight through your engine bay and to ur z3 fender; and you made a costum vent thru the fender for the intake,....... so as u accelerate, more and more air gets into the intake equalling more power??? its just a thought

K what I ment was that its worth to get the projectors beacause it istn much more than 4 new hjeadlights. I just went to a toyota dealership and its 150 for each high beam and 240 for each low beam....than means for a set of all brand new headlights its guna be 780 dollars........... this isnt a big difference from projector head lights that are 800 dollars............now do u understand what im saying?

Well any way I unded up only getting the glass of 3 headlights because I didnt need the whole housing for the headlights and bought one whole headlight because the brackets to hold the headlight in place broke off. This came to be 450 dollars.... Which is still expensive for headlights considering brand new lets say "civic" projector headlights are only 200 for the set..

Wow....where do I start........Digndoug....dont talk about "ricey".........here let me be honest for once..........all I have 2 say is u spay painted ur stock 15 inch rims gold...........Next, Anub1s..........please dont talk ur car is completely stock .........Importceli.....its just funny how u have a stock converrtable with neons....-It just gets me mad when people missuse the word rice when they are in no positions to call other cars rice!-

Next that exhaust sounds really good..........it just proves that u dont need to get a complete and expensive exaust to make it sound good like this one does-
Keep up the good work!
