I now have the above for sale on eBay if anyone would be interested.

I have stated in the auctions that I would only ship to UK mainland but if somebody is interested enough I would consider shipping overseas once I have investigated costs and you have agreed.

Please find the auction for the rear clusters here and the side repeaters here

Thanks smile.gif

Just bought some late spec clusters so Ive now got a pair of standard gen6 rear clusters (tail lights, rear lights etc) in excellent condition up for grabs.

Was going to put them on eBay...2 questions...

1) Will they even sell on eBay? Theres no others for sale...

2) What sort of price should I expect to get, pounds sterling (£)?

If any of you guys fancy some as spares to play with painting etc Im open to offers?

Youve all obviously seen these before, but if for any reason your not sure what Im talking about theres a big picture of one side on my profile.

Oh yeah, same goes for some orange side repeaters (what you US guys call them, side markers?) Ive got too...

I believe you get them as standard on the GT4 model, which compliment the standard side skirts?

How exactly do they fit? Theres nowhere I can see for them to screw in, or is there?

Anyone know where I can buy them from in the UK? Fensport couldnt help frown.gif

Just ordered some clear side repeaters (UK Gen 6) to replace the awful orange ones.

Is there a certain way to remove them, like a certain way to push? Last time I removed them on my previous car I made a complete mess.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Just ordered some late spec taillights though these looks really easy to replace.

Basically Ive found a K&N 57i induction kit cheap, but its for a 2.0 GT. Was just wondering if this would fit on my 1.8 SR (1998).

Many Thanks

Stock sideskirts look ok, but if you get aftermarket ones like vis or invader, or erubuni it wont look right because they are so much lower than then front and the rear.

agreed.... smile.gif

Not sure how much help this is, but I have stock sideskirts on my profile.

I see plenty of cars with only side skirts and stock bumpers (fenders), you could always get some cheap splitters to drop the look of the front/rear fender without going all the way with full replacements...

I got 18" Wheels on my Celica and I have found them to be perfect.

My father has a celica same as mine and hes got 16" wheels and I can say without any hesitation that the performance drop is not noticable when upping the wheel size.

Just make sure you put lower profile tyres on to compensate for the larger diameter.

Much more grip now too, so cornering and braking are improved!

Heres the beast with 18"s

I think I prefer the top wheel though, but they are getting to be common with the smaller cars and the Honda people for some reaason.

Yeah I thought that M8, both of their spokes go right to the edge which in theory should make them look bigger than they are. I made the mistake of getting some internal spokes before, they were 17s and looked like 16s...waste.

Thought they were quite cheap too smile.gif

Hi m8 its only the removing of the cat that messes with the emissions not the exhaust , im not sure if anyone does a rear box for the ST but im sure a local powerflow dealer can knock u up one for around the £100-£150 mark or £250-£300 for a full cat back system , they make them to suit ur needs ie: loud, quiet ,throbbing (lol) heres a link so u can find ur local dealer

This is proving to be difficult!! Tried Scorpion, Magnex, Mongoose and Blitz and none of them can offer a backbox for a 1.8, only the GT4 models.

So where else can I find a backbox? Just a quick question too, will a backbox still give me a good sports sound? I dont really want a full system because it will play with the emissions and probably make me fail my MOT, I dont really want to put my old exhaust back on once a year come MOT time!

i have 18s but the wheels get bent easier! steering wheel gets shakey and all! its annoying and about 180 a wheel to fix.

18s look really good though

Agree with that, some 18's buckle easy when driven over bad potholed
roads, if you go for 18's and the roads are poor where you are, you'll
be weaving like crazy..

Well that certainly rules 18s out then, I live in a village with potholed roads mad.gif

I have 17" and it DESPERATLY Needs to be lowered, if you want your car lowered, I would get 17' if you just wana be stylin, get 18 or 19

When you say you need it lowering, is that because theres now too much bodyroll because of larger wheels...or just because youve still got a lot of space between the wheels and the wheel arches?

This is whats worrying me too, I dont want the handling to suffer because of larger wheels...wont will it? Please tell me it wont!!! LOL

Actually, when I think of it, you have a strange point there, if its 25th Anniversary it should be on only 1 year. When was Toyota's 25th Anniversary? LOL

See where your coming from, but mines definitely that model....
