It doesn't really matter I'm not trying to be pro or anything. I haven't even bought the $50 elite package to be in an official clan.My kd is only like .87 but I mess around a lot with the riot sheild and quickscoping and using shotguns on maps I have no buisness using them and stuff like that. I just thought it would be cool to party up with some fellow 6gc members.

I read some where on here that the gt4 conversion requires gt4 mounting brackets and a bunch of other stuff and is not as simple as just swaping out your hood and bumper. True or false? I also read the post about the vis bumper not fitting correctly . His problem was he didn't test the bumper for correct fitment within the return period. I'm new to the 6gc world but ive had many bodykits on some of my previous cars and ive never had any problems as long as mounted correctly like any thing else. I think he just got really unlucky with his vis kit. Btw after I read about the gt4 requiring. All these extra parts I decided I was gonna go with the vis kit or there's another one that looks like a gt4 with a lip I was thinking bout getting with a carbon fiber gt4 lookalike hood.

Welcome back man... my previous car was a 94 Ford GT w/ KLZE swap... they're b-@ss little sports cars. wink.gif

Here's what it looked like, just before I sold it. I loved those stock RX8 rims on it... I miss those wheels. frown.gif

... I still have parts left over... PM me & I'll give you a sweet deal to take them off my hands!

They really are pretty bad ass..( for a domestic ) if you have the gt ^ klze, top speeds really good my buddy had one we were flyinyng down the hiway in his going 145mph. But yeah do a 3s swap and get a big welcome back.

Hey I live in baltimore. I'm in columbia once every month or so to visit the crazy rays on washington blvd or goto the mall. I actualy got my celica from the auction right up the hill by carmax.

I was just told about crazy rays, Im going to have to search around for some celica's around there.
If the weather keeps up like it has we will have to organize a little meet and see if we can get some celica's together

Sounds good. I was at rays about 2 weeks ago they had 1 coupe all the way in the back and a couple 5gc. Selections kinda bare right now.

So yeah my goal is about 170 hp. I know that's a lot to ask for out of my motor but is it possible to do keeping it na and fairly reliable. basicly minor internal upgrades and bolt ons? I just want somthing kinda quick for now not looking for a track car. The reason I'm looking into going this direction over a swap is because I've never taken apart a motor or even relaced on at this point and id like to attempt that when I feel alitle more comfterable. And I've seen pictures of wireing harness's and it looks like that would be a disaster waiting to happen with one broken clip or one mix matched wire blah blah. So any opinions??

Ok so this is a revised post aperently I have the right dome now my problem is any ideas on how to clean up my headliner. I have an aftermarket sunroof in my celi. I've got a headliner from a celi with a sunroof so my dome light doesn't fit and I don't have the sunroof cover or any of the plastic trim that goes around the sunroof. All that is there is the metal for the roof. Does not look good. I'm think about getting the right headliner so my dome will fit and cutting out a hole for the sun roof and wrapping it. But what should I do about the exspoed metal, the headliner still won't cover it completely without the trim and the trims not an option seing as how its attached to that big black plastic peice underneith the headliner on celis that come stock on celis with sun roofs. Any ideas. Sorry if these are dumb qustions I just reall want to clean the looks up.

In a bit of a dilemma rite now. Here's how my car looks like as it is and I haven't touched the back end yet because I can't decide if I want to put the WRC spoiler back on or keep it spoilerless or not?

Looks good verry clean as is. Don't go over bored with the huge spoiler.

save your money, its not worth it

Why not? my stock motor puts out 110 hp. I should be getting around 170 with the head swap? People have spent more for less, what would you do?
