I'm self-learning French right now. Best tip I can give is immersion. Immerse yourself in the language and the culture. Watch movies, listen to radio, talk to people who speak that language, get a penpal or such. It will help you learn it faster than just an exercise book. As for the technical aspect of actually learning, get a good dictionary and a couple of grammar books, audio tapes and learning CDs. There should also be a lot of stuff on the net. One thing I've noticed in French is that young people tend to speak and write in a colloquial/informal style moreso than adults which should be noted (ie, j'sais pas vs je ne sais pas) so you might want to watch out for that in Finnish and stuff. I've spent about... 4 months learning French now, and currently my main issue is listening and comprehending what is being said. This is a result of my studying method, which has focused more on writing than speaking and listening, since I rarely have people to practice French with. So make sure you don't fall behind in either area. That's my experience of learning a new language, anyway. |

It seemed not so long ago that you posted about just getting your lovely Italian 19" rims... Shame to see it go, hope the new buyer will take good care of it! Good luck with the sale. |

QUOTE(purplegt4 @ Dec 9, 2005 - 3:27 PM) about sound from gt4: "I was talking with a reviewer this week about the amazing music of GT4, when an innocent bystander stopped by and immediately commented that the engine sounds in GT4 sound nothing like the actual vehicles. I asked him to prove it…”What’s an Aston Martin sound like when you rev it to 60?” He didn’t have a reply. You’ll love what GT4 brings to the table in terms of sound. I think that if you’re that detailed that you need to have the engines sound exactly like the actual cars in real life, you have a sad life. I don’t want to recognize a 99’ Civic, I want to hear the thing become loud and soft at times that I need it to. In other words, it sounded fine to me. Each car has a different hum to its motor and enough variety where you won’t be stuck on a minor detail like this. Such a minor detail. " http://www.gamerz-edge.com/ps2/reviews/gt4.html btw gt4 = great game member of the 100% club driving force pro wheel While we're butchering car sounds, why not just have a box to represent the car? Hell it doesn't matter if it's also visually unrecognisable as a 99' Civic, it still corners and accelerates... |

Woah, woah. First of all, there's no such thing as TRD sideskirts. And I believe the SS-III came with both the stock 96+ OEM sideskirts, as well as the dealer optional, more elaborate ones. (see here: http://home.datacomm.ch/berichte/Prospekte...5_japan/25.jpg) |

Ya know, I wouldn't say it's ugly. It's certainly unique. The owner probably put a lot of a hard work on it to get it looking like that. |

Are you referring to the lines at the top right of the picture (the horizontal squiggly ones)? My car does not have those. I only have the ones on the sideskirt and the curved line near the door jamb. Perhaps the other ones are scratches? |

usually hands at the 10/2 (sometimes I move my left hand to about the 7 o clock position - resting on my left leg, it grips the bottom of the wheel) seat is fairly upright, not too close to the wheel. |

Ahhnold. Nice vid, how much do you bench? I'm thinking about getting into weightlifting some more, at least more than like once every month (which is my current rate). I'm so slack. |

Take a good walk around your car and see if you like the look from all angles. Since you have rims and skirts/splitters, I reckon it'll look good either way. Personally I reckon if the car is stock, it should keep the spoiler. |

There's a dealer option for a padded armrest addition on top of the current armrest which has two large cup holders that sit behind the armrest between the chairs. UK celicas seeem to have them more than others. |
