I have noticed shavings when I change my oil, have also noticed my used oil is more reddish in color so it looks more brown and it is kinda alittle sluddgy... if that makes sense any ideas? also by 3000 miles I only drained out about 2 quarts d=-( how long do I have?!?

depends, pop the valve cover and look for sludge.

no sludge under the valve cover... I thinking it just may be coolant.

Does anyone run without the timing covers on?

I do, no problems at all. I lost the covers actually... probably because a bolt fell in destroying my brand new belt d=-( so i tossed it across the shop lol... but ya no biggie

Can try doing a piston soak with Marvel Mystery Oil, then running the Marvel in the crankcase. What I did and it freed my rings. Of course if that doesn't work switch out to heavier oils or use a stop burn additive. What causes the smoke with the 7A-FE are the oil control rings. They get stuck and it allows oil into the combustion chamber. Rebuilding the head would just be a waste of money.

What do u mean by piston soak? I`m using 10w 40 but still burnin

White smoke points to blown head gasket, or cracked/warped block or head. Does the exhaust smell sweet?

Not sure. Is there a way to tell which it is?

Not without taking it apart and looking, probably not. Have you driven it for awhile? Could've been condensation in the exhaust depending on how long the car sat before swapping engines. Obvious is keeping an eye on coolant levels. The rough idle could be caused by the aforementioned, but it'd have to be bad enough that it's bogging the engine down. Could try contacting who you got the engine from, but seeing the warranty expired you're probably on your own.

I get a little bit white smoke with a tint of blue... it smells sweet and sour at the same time (best way to describe it sorry) I know I deferentially burn oil and lose a little bit of coolant as well. I think its worn piston rings d=-(

Could try using one of the stop smoke/leak products, that or use heavier weight oil to see if it helps.

What do u recommend that u know works or does not work cause I`ve tried lucas but really did nothing, still burning oil... it isn`t too bad of a burn, I end up with like 2 or 3 quarts by the time I go to change it. I just gotta add one more quart inbetween lol... maybe I`ll rebuild the head I dunno yet...

When i did my struts shocks and springs, i did not install bump stops and that caused my creaking, which was actually my spring rubbing against itself. Not saying this is the problem, but take note on the advice above as well

In pretty desperate need of motor mounts, mine are completely shot. Its a at200. Vibrations are very annoying. Cheapest i found is 50 for both. So if anyone can spare any sitting around ones let me know thanks!

The water pump isn't something you want to have "go" on you... it can pretty much cause damage to your engine if it stops working.

Lifetime warranty or not, you should replace it every other t-belt job (80k miles is a good interval if you're using a quality pump such as OEM or Aisin)

It was replaced last timing belt change... now since it has a lifetime warranty... do i just take it back and get another next belt change?

You have a lot to learn about cars I see. Whenever you do a timing belt, you want to change the water pump, idler pulley and tensioner pulley too. It's just a common thing to do while you're in there because you never know when one of those things will go.

Yes i am learning. I don't replace water pump cause it got life timer warranty...it goes i get s free one. Didn't know about the pulleys really. Now u said the tensioner and the idle pulley. I obviously know where the tensioner is but where's the idle Pulley is that the one that tensions that does the AC,crank belt?
