Hey Yellowchinaman, where do you get the clear lenses?? Cleat lens over the neon lamps to see what needs cutting off. ![]() ![]() Then cut down to size ![]() Now compare the housing ![]() ![]() Cut the stock front fixings out ![]() ![]() ![]() Now cut back the neon housing keeping the lamp fixings only and all together it looks like this ![]() all 3 put together looks like this ![]() ![]() Now I've had enough I'm off for a beer. Next time when I can be bothered, I need to do the same to the other side lamps and I'm going to bolt it all together, test fit for angles. Then fibreglass the two front and rear half of the housing together, smooth it down and spray it black and then put the new lens on. TBC... [/quote] |

Well I have two pairs and am willing to investigate. i have seen a few forums where they install these huge boulders of projector but nows technology has fixed that and thus should offer better chances of customanization ![]() Ima practice with this full kit I found on this website [ http://www.theretrofitsource.com/ ] for less than $350. Fully custom for cheaper than 900 sounds good to me ![]() Im comfident that Ill get a good outcome. If it works out I might offer some to other 6gc enthusiasts ![]() Stay tuned ![]() |

As we all know the JDM headlights are extremely expensive and even hard to find for me. I saw these lights and the oval shape looks very similar to the 6gc ones, but belong to a 95-99 dodge neon!! I have many extra lights from the celica but cannot afford the sexy ass JDM ones as of yet. i was willing to doing some type of invention but would first like to know if anybody has any idea if the clear covers from the dodge neon lights are the same diameter as the 6gc ones. My plan is to do all the following from the JDM light customization many do, but to the stock ones and somehow fitting the halo projectors and led/ HID (as long as I get a good looking, flush overall product) ![]() And yes I know its a little out of the box, but I think its possible. If anybody have any extra neon head lights would you measure? lol Here I have included a link to the light that cough my attention. Now i am aware that the housing from the stock ones will be needed since these seem as if they have no housing. http://d3d71ba2asa5oz.cloudfront.net/23000...p-neo03g-tm.jpg The Idea's been inpemented now lets see if any creative peoples can assist me in the completion of this project ![]() Comments, concerns and insults are requested lol.
