See with me the thing is I don't care for turbo that much...a supercharger is a lot more up my ally or NA ...there are no SC for the 7afe (there are i think but impossible to find) so instead i would but on that head and the put the 4age forged pistons in and hopefully be good to go. there are a few celica's here, using a sc12 or a eaton m45. not sureabout other possibilities |

Dear members My name is Ki ( prenounced key) and am one of the many celica lovers. In my opinion one of the best cars i've ever driven. i used to have a celica st185 2.0 3SGE after returning from a vacation, i found this at my doorstep after a moment of insanity, i found her: the rims started to annoy me so i took the old ones i get bored real quick so after almost 1 year of having this car, i want to do something else, with this car. some choose to do the looks first, i want to do the engine. im browsing the web to find as much info as possible to do a head swap. 7afe bottom+4agze supercharged head= 7agze replacing all pulleys with the lighter ones. and making the enginebay parts: black/red/silver ish when i first announced this , almost every body declared me insane.they suggested to do 3sgte swap. the "down side" is that her in the Netherlands, almost evertbody who has a 1800 cc , is swapping it for a 3sg(t)e. So i decided to try to be unique here. i don't want the bhp, my limit is 200/220 bhp. this because i dont want to replace any other parts. And the most important reason, since i cannot drive due to whiplash ( last december ) my wife is transporting my most precious cargo i pretty much found all parts ( used ) at one spot. He's helping me to complete the swap for under $1300,if i go higher, i'm better of swapping the whole car for a st202. i'm sure im going to hit afew rough spots, thats whyim openfor suggestions and tips. |

Going to be doing that this weekend and do a tire rotation. Tires have about 2k miles on them but I'll do that just in case. My sister's Honda Passport shook like a gigantic vibrator when she didn't rotate her tires. Ill be going under the car and checking for bad joints, bad links, or anything that is leaking in general...that will give me an idea of what I need to replace. btw, just to be safe, you sure the coils are tightend? |

So....right after I dropped my suspension with Megan coils, my car would shake/studder after 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd shift. At first I thought it was my engine mounts but it wasn't. My engine is fine. Transmission is good. It was right after I dropped it. Its probably dropped 3 some inches in the front. Now im stuck. Could it be my sway links? Sway bar? I've run out of ideas really. Feels likelike its rubbingto on something andto its trying to get over it. If anyone might know, help? Hehe thanks! I would raise the car and try again, |
