I'm new so don't blow my head off if this is a common question, as I've searched but noone seems to ask it directly. Can you bolt a 6 Speed gearbox to a ST205 celica? Y or N? If Y what is the gearbox out of? |

reason for more gas out of one tail pipe to the other is one of two things: 1) The pipe is split after the tail box, so the gas is forces down the standard channel 2) The pipes are different lengths so the gas takes longer to come out on thn the other. Look at the under side of a high powered Jaguar or BMW to see what I mean. Over here in the UK we have a company called Powerflow. They make anything, any size, any shape tailpipe, even how loud you want it, all in stainless. Thats where I'll be going! |

1) I'd fancy a big fat chrome roll cage in mine, just rear half tho, can the be bought or would I have to get one made? 2) I like the Gunmetal Grey but also would like the flip paint, has anyone seen a later spec GT4 in flip? I'm into subtle. 3) Carbonfibre hood / bonnets with the GT4 vent in them, can they be bought? But have seen carbonfibre fade in the sunlight, can this be stopped? Are they practial for everyday use? I have hered they need bonnet pins this true? |

1) Are all the ST205's 4 wheels drive? or just the GT-4's (hence the name) 2) Can you get protection for the unside of them, things like sump guards, diff guards, skid pans etc? |

I'm new so I'd though I'd say hi. I'm seriously looking at a '98 GT-4 , but don't have the funds just yet. I drive a Toyota Mk1 Mr2, and am looking for a winter car. The options were: Scoobie :> Too expensive for what it is. Evo :> Close very nearly put my hear on this but don't really want a 4 door. Pulsar GTiR :> Would have been this but abit too old. Celica GT-4 :> Looks like it tick all my boxes! I need some history as I have lots of questions: What are common problems? Do they rot? What trim levels did they come in? What factory extras were there? What sort of prices are they? What 'upgrades' could they do with? i.e the Pulsar could do with a brake upgrade cos it doesn't stop that well Does it have the same sort of driving position as the mr2 where your sat 'in' the car rather ran on it. What are they like in the Ice / Wet? Does the power suddenly BANG! in when the turbo kick's in? Where is the best place to import one from Japan or Oz? Probably loads more on there way but that will do for now. Brill site by the way, someone pointed me in this direction off of TOC. Cheers Chunk |
