I posted the same question over at the alltrac.net forums, someone told me it was an electronic boost controller. I figured it was but wasn't sure, and couldn't find any info on it. Anyway, thanks for info! smile.gif

Okay, so when I purchased my GT-Four back in March, the old owner gave me a bunch of factory and aftermarket parts. One of the parts he gave me is something I have no clue what it is. Anyone have any ideas? (see pics below)

It's an HKS part, with vacuum lines running off it, and a electrical plug.
It has a number on the back: NV14951. A value quote would be great too.

Any input appreciated! And if it's something someone needs, I can probably sell it.

Thanks,
Jay

Here are the pics I promised. In the last pic, you can see the timing belt cooler ducting laying in the bottom of the box. It's not broken - just removed. Hood is also very dirty.

Hello everyone.

Selling a used GT-Four hood, straight off my own GT-Four.
The hood is a JDM piece, the color is the factory super red, and the hood has a carbon fiber styled vinyl wrap on it.
The hood is for sale because it has some hail damage, and it got replaced with a CF one for my Celica. So now I have no use for it. Damage isn't too bad, any body shop should be able to fix it and paint it up. Right now, I don't have pics, but I promise to post some tomorrow. Other than hail damage, hood has absolutely no other damage.

Like I said, the hood is wrapped, and I bought the car with the hood wrapped as it is. I have no idea what the paint/underside looks like, so if anyone is interested enough in the hood, I can pull the wrap and take pics for you. It will need to come off anyway to repair the hood. Also, the hood will come with all pieces (timing belt cooler ducting, heat vent grille, and ducting for the rear vents.) Windshield squirters are not included.

The price is $150 + shipping (I have no idea what the shipping costs are yet - I will find out when someone is interested in purchasing it). I will only ship inside the continental US. Item is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

If interested, please reply to this thread, and I will answer any questions if any are asked. If you are serious about the hood, then we can PM each other payment and shipping info.

I will post pictures tomorrow (it's night time right now).
EDIT: Pics are up like promised in third post.

Thanks for looking.
-Jay

UPDATE: I forgot that I had a JDM ST205 front bumper too. I'm not exactly sure if I wanna get rid of it, but money talks. Shoot me a price if interested. I can possibly sell the hood/bumper as a combo too for cheaper instead of individually selling them if someone is interested. The bumper is black, and is in really good shape - no cracks or damage. Some underside curb scrapes and def needs paint. No grille, and no fog lights. The Styrofoam back is included. Comes with the turn signals, but only one has bulb and bulb adapter (that's how I bought it.) Shoot me a price. I would also be interested in trading the hood/bumper for a set of JDM projectors. Thanks! Pics are in 4th post.

Thanks for the link speedy. I found this link too, but this is an even cheaper knockoff of my already knockoff manifold.
I was just looking for one of my knockoffs (the KU engineering marked one)
Thanks for your help tho, I really appreciate it biggrin.gif

Update: I'm getting the manifold professionally repaired. A friend of mine is going to reweld and reinforce this sucker good for 200 bucks.

thanks for the tip special_edy.

When I collect the cash down the road, I will buy a new manifold and scrap this one.

The manifold was welded/fixed before. When I bought this GT-FOUR, the old owner told me there was a leak in the mani, but that he fixed it. Upon taking it out, I noticed some of the bolts that connect the mani to the head were missing.
I think a combo of stress/weight from not being put on their properly and 23 lbs of boost through that sucker caused it to crack.

I'm not sure if fixing it will work, as I'm sure down the line it will just crack again.
I would like to replace it, but if I can't find another one, I'm going to get it actually repaired - not just weld cracks, but reweld a whole new bottom on.

Hello everyone.

I am having a problem right now that maybe you all can help me with.
I have a KU Engineering intake manifold on my JDM GT-FOUR Celica (this manifold is a replica/knock off of the JUN intake manifold made for the 3SGTE, but they were never sold here in the US).
My manifold has cracked beyond repair around the runners, and it cannot be fixed - it must be replaced. I can not seem to find another one of these manifolds for sale anywhere.
If anyone has one they would like to sell, or know where I can buy another, please let me know!

The manifold I need looks as such:

My current manifold looks like this (yeah it's cracked pretty bad - 500 awhp will do this to you)

Thanks for any help.

Update: I got 3 people so far who want to set up a Celica show for this summer. Any other people interested?
This meet wouldn't just be for 6th gens, all Celica gens would be there!

Anyone located in Colorado know of any good Celica meets held in the Colorado Springs/Denver area? I know there is a Toyota car show held once a year in Castle Rock, but I'm looking for an all Celica meet.
If there is none, would anybody be interested in setting one up for this summer? An all Celica meet would be bad ass.
If interested in setting one up, PM me and we can start setting up a meet (if I get enough interested Colorado owners)

hello guys,

I just bought a JDM GT-FOUR last month, and the only thing that is missing is the fuse box cover inside the cabin! Can someone link me to one or does someone have one for sale? The car is RHD, and I am located in USA.
Picture below to show exactly which part im talking about. I need it in black.

Thanks!

Hey everyone.

So I brought my car down to a buddys shop. Found out the voltage stabilizer in the alternator died. He is sourcing parts that I need and he will rebuild it for me. Hopefully all is well after that.

A guy was selling it about a month ago locally. I traded a turbocharged Lexus IS300 + other miscellaneous things for it. How the car actually got in the US I have no idea. Either way I don't really care, owning this car is a dream! (besides the battery lol)

Thanks for the tips guys, I will have to get a multimeter and test the fuses and relays. I really hope it's just the fan relay - if so I'll have to get a REAL Toyota relay. Got ripped on ebay (guy showed toyota relay and said it was a toyota relay - get a crap piece! haha) but I will have to see with the multimeter.

And richee3 - yes, It's a GT-FOUR in the states! I just picked it up a month ago.

Hello everyone.

I got a small issue that maybe you all could help me out with? My fan relay blew last week, and my fans have been modified to run 24/7 when the keys are inserted. I bought a new relay, and it was supposed to be an authentic Toyota relay, but it was some cheap Taiwan knockoff, anyway it works though. The next day, my battery died while driving and would not hold a charge, so I replaced the battery that night. The next day after the battery was dead again when I went to start the car. Something is causing a large parasitic drain on the battery. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Maybe the fan relay because it's a cheap knockoff? Any help would be appreciated. Car is a 1995 JDM GT-FOUR.

Thanks
