A 3rd gen engine with stock botom end and stock turbo can run 360 HP easy. Bolting on a big turbo is not the right way to go.
I would suggest an Apexi PFC, 650 or 800 cc injectors, 264/264 IN/EX cams, (sprokets, springs and belt) and a full 3" exhaust. Get to a dyno, get it tuned and be happy smile.gif
A Blits Access ECU with a boost controller is a nice and cheap upgrade if you are on a budget. Just remember one thing - it's not the turbo that's holding you back it's the breathing ability of the engine which is pretty poor on a stock engine.

Hi guys!
I know this is probably a bit of topic but I just wanted to share some of my emotions with you. I'm visiting Hong Kong this week and have made friends with several guys in the tuning business.
I had a chance to see and ride in the new Skyline GTR. All I can say is this car is a real monster. It's still in it's break in and only has 1500 km on the dial so the owner doesn't push it yet. But it is a real beast even at 3K RPM. The handling is amazing! It feels like a tram on tracks going into corners.

And a few fotos of this great car and me smile.gif

I still love my gt-four, but wouldn't mind to have a GTR as a second car smile.gif

GT3076R with .63 AR would be a good choice and have a very nice spool up.
GT3582R would get you in the 500whp range easily

Hi
I PM'ed you the part numbers for the engine rebuild kit. If you need something else just give me a list of what you need and I will post the part numbers.
You can order everything you need from a toyota dealer or some other place that carries toyota parts.

The most detonation prone section is between 3 and 4K RPMs, so if you are having code 52 then the ECU retards the ignition all the way it can in that range so you feel a sudden loss of power and torque

Here's a link to a gallery of photos from our trip.
http://www.gt-four.ru/album/pecm2007album/

It's been more than 7000 km for us. The major landmarks of our trip were
Russia (Moscow) - Belorussia (Minsk) - Poland - Czech Republic - Austria (Wien) - Italy (Parma and all around it) - Italy (Pisa) - Italy (Milano) - Austria (Innsbruck) - Germany (Berlin) - Poland (Warshaw) - Belorussia - Russia (Moscow)

Thanks to everyone who's been there. Thank you Wolf for great organization.
Thanks to Malpaso and Recycle for a crazy time spent together smile.gif Demetris, I'm planning to visit you some time so be ready. Definitely visiting Prague.
And if anyone wants to come see Moscow I will be more than ready to show around smile.gif

It's great you guys like the car! There are a lot of plans for this car and I hope Peter will acomplish all of them. But it does look amazing, even though someone might not like it. Each and every one of us has his or hers own vision and thats great!

We'll do a photo session of several nice gt4s soon and hi-res pics are soon to come smile.gif

Wrapping the cat is not a good idea since it's not designed to hadle such high temps. Having a cat and using heat wrap on your header is a bad idea in the first place.

another problem it that i'll prolly end up in russia or something, i got a habit of ending up where i planned, although by taking a 400% longer "shortcut"

And if you do end up in Russia then you can join our convoy 'couse I'm definetly comming to this meet and I'm more then sure that out gt-four club will come and some other neat cars will join biggrin.gif

I think this would be a trip everyone would remember for a long time biggrin.gif

Just get the front bumper + bonnet and you have a gt-four smile.gif
Everything else is the same, no need to get a complete body smile.gif

Well you also need a mounting bracket, but you can modify yours

a caldina engine is rated at 260 bhp
a 3" DP can probably add as much as 15hp. But considering the engine isn't new you are looking at about stock 260 bhp
A nice intake and full exhaust and boost up to 1 bar (it's safe) could give you about 280-290 bhp

My friend has a st185 with a caldina engine and full exhaust and at that time it could beat a stock st205. Now he's got a front mount and boost up to 1.1 bar and it's a BEAST

So thats about it

Those are rims and not hub caps. The girl took first place in the best rims competition. There were about 15 cars - but it was to hard to judge them all, so we gave the first place for originality biggrin.gif
