And two, no one is going to trade you their car that runs, for your car that doesn't run.

Actually found a person that is coming next week to trade for a civic hatch that runs

You'll need the warranty. wink.gif

I'd buy a Mitsubishi too if I enjoyed the reliability of a wet napkin...

I was about to say something similar.

I've never met anyone with a "reliable Mitsubishi."

You guys have it right I had a 2010 Ralliart also, Did all of the bolt on's and a tune made 290awh 300 awt, trans was blown within 25K Warrenty covvered it but it cost them 12k for a trans, Traded the car for my miata 4 days later

A banana convertible with lambo doors hmmmm don't you know the only person that looks good in a 4 door convertible was hitler.

I have seen some sick build threads on this website and yours does not fall under that category, but to each there own i guess.

Brigette and I made it all the way to Dustin and Stef's with no back seats, trunk plastic anywhere, sub, a/c, and the relocated battery had to be re-relocated laugh.gif Talk about a long, noisy drive. But it was totally worth it! Surely you could fit the subs and and bumper and trans in your car along with the subs though? I don't think I've seen your setup.

Try living with this for the past year kindasad.gif because racecar

yup.. np. but you will have to get a new O2 sensor as well.. looking in that pic the sensor is there, but the wires are clipped off... you will get a CEL due to that.. cahlk one more to the list.. smile.gif but easy fix though

Yea i saw the 02 a day after i got the car, DRIVER gave me a 02 he had laying around from his car, and old warn 02 is better then no 02 imo

And this list keeps getting bigger and bigger lol

QUOTE (richee3 @ Jun 19, 2012 - 3:41 PM) *
Yes, you will need that wire on the starter. I'd check all the wires on all the sensors before shipping the harness out, a quick tug to see if the wires are cut/loose should do. If this wire was making a very loose connection, then that explains why the car would sometimes start but often wouldn't.

I'm dying to hear a review of a 4A swapped Celica. I've found a select few posts saying the Silvertop swap is a poor choice for a Celica due to the car's weight and the engine's low torque. But I don't believe I've read anything on a Blacktop swapped Celica so I'm hoping you can get the wiring sorted out and have a reliable DD. I'd love to see this thing at the Midwest Meet.

The wiring harness has bin out of the car for about a month, i will ship it out anyway and have drtweak work his magic and fix what needs to be fixed, and i hope it will be a reliable DD and i extreamly hope i will be there at the midwest meet, if not i will bring my broke ass miata

the black wire that you are holding in your hands, was that pluged into the starter just next to the BIG wire that is bolted to the starter? if so then yes, your car will not start with out that wire.. it is the signal/switched wire that tells the starter to turn over, the BIG wire only feeds power to the electric motor in the starter.. so you need both.. hope this helps

looks like i will be playing with the harness one last time before i go to work to see if that was the problem thanks!

Signal wire? Look around on the starter. Should plug in around there.

I unplugged it from the starter the wire was cut from it, would this prevent the starter from getting power?
