Please, I need to know how it works out ASAP. My stocks are blown & I can't stand it. I'm thinking of getting a 3 piece component set but the mid bass is a 8. Please help me.

Can my 89 Mr2 SC's brake system be installed on my 94 Celica ST? If so what would it take for the swap?

My front driverside door panel & passenger rear panel(under the window that doesn't move on the side) rattles. I have a stock stereo (except for cd deck) & at semi-loud volume those 2 rattle. Help me before I beat the crap outta it.

I'm doing an engine swap & hoping I can use stock tranny cause I don't want to rig the gze's to work in the Celica.

I'm looking to do a 4A-GZE swap too & currently trying to find out what it takes for the swap. I'm taking my 2 cars down to Sacramento, California (I live in Tacoma, Washington) so i need to know much $$$ it cost & what parts to buy. By the way, I'm putting a 3S-GTE in my Mr2 & taking the Mr2's engine (4A-GZE) & throwing it in my 94 ST Celi. biggrin.gif

What you don't seem to understand is that I'm going to have a "free" engine because I'm putting a 3S-GTE in my Mr2 & the engine in my Mr2 is the 4A-GZE so what better use than throw it in my celi? Also it only has 82,000 miles & runs really strong. Can someone please tell me what it takes to put my 4A-GZE in my celi?

Thanks for the info, i know FWD is the worst canidate considering the WHP/traction issue for draging but someone has to show up all those FWD hondas. biggrin.gif I just want a good amount of the line "fun" not for the reason of racing in the 1/4 mile. I just want the engine that has the best 1/4 mile potential and not too hard of a swap.

Basically, I want new extra-high preformance racing mechanics, yet comfortable. Forget the under 10 secs, I don't want to turn my car into a shell.

The HKS Celica

The Celica which most likely owns has the title of worlds fastest Celica is the HKS drag Celica. Built by legendary Japanese drag builder HKS...the HKS Celica was built off of the AT200 (U.S. ST) chassis. The Celica was the first FWD car under the 10-second barrier. Note that this was all done WITHOUT using a tubular chassis. Details are of course still kept confidential, however what is known is that the Celica has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine perhaps an over bored 3S-GTE, or based off of a Toyota Racing Engine used in the Pikes Peak Celica...

I've done some research and the 3S-GTE looks the highest rated. But what about the 2.4? It seems too new to see fully fixed up 2.4's but if any1 has seen specs, what they can handle or how the engine mounts let me know. Oh, by the way I got $$$ for it and a buddy who can get me discounted toyota labor.

I have a 1994 Celica ST coup hardtop that I am converting to a quarter mile monster. Now I need to find the right engine so I can get it done ASAP. I'm planning to replace the mechanics with high preformance racing products. With so many options I need to see other suggestions. The new 2.4 in the Camry and the Scion tC looks promising but I haven't heard of any fixed up 2.4's. Any help would be much appreceated.

Also, what are the pros and cons of each??? Im looking to build a quartermile car. I forgot to add the 4A-GE(20 valve) as an engine option in poll too. Accually any semi-easy engine swap for a quartermile, ive been saving and by the time i find the engine & accessorys ill be ready for the birth of a monster. mad.gif

PS: When i get a new engine im FULLY racing out my celi, mechanically & cosmetically. biggrin.gif
