Ok. I have been interested in rebuilding the 7a for a goood turbo setup.I am thinking about getting te kit for the 7a prizm in the link below and getting costum connecting rods made. Now, Would I want to keep everything at the stock sizes or should I play mad scientist witht the engine? Thanks

I was wondering. Does the plastic that lines the inside of the fender serve any great purpose? One of them is damaged on my girlfriends celica and i was just going to take them off. It wont hurt anything will it?

Well I got other problems today. The celica is my gf's car. Today she was driving down the street and someone in a city water department truck open the door on her. Didn't know a door could do some much damn damage. We got lucky though it bashed in the fender (which we were getting new ones anyway because they both already had damage). Some how the guys door completly skiped the door (THANK GOD!!) but put a dent right behind the door. I just don't see how a door did this much damage to the car. Its crazy. These cars look like they have some week ass metal. Oh we'll the city is paying for it who cares. Just a miner set back. I'm just doing the fenders myself and having them pay for the other dent. I know this isn't really a question for this forum, but what do you guys think of the Z3 fenders for our car. I am gonna go ahead and get these because I think they look better but I want someone else opinion. But I am going to go ahead and get them because me and her like them and they are cheaper than stock ones.

Go to a muffler shop and get one costom made. GReddy has one but I think they stopped production. I might be wrong though. Well anyway custom will do the same and probably be cheaper.

Has anyone from STL area done 3s swap, or knows a mechanic in this area who can do it (probably not). If so give me info. (It's probably pointless seeing as I live in RICER CITY). I do not have materials or time to do swap myself ( DAMN that sucks since I love to work on cars). Thanks in advance (Or not!!)

Screw all of the RICERS!!!

Well here is another question. I read a while back that EDO's 4a pistons weren't good. Pistons are pretty much the deciding factor in my project. I am probably going to get custom pistons but I can't find any info or prices. Does anyone have any info that they can give me on this.

Well today I was looking at some of the figures of re-building and turboing my ST. I was going to get custom pistons and rods ,but it looks like I might overshoot my budget. After looking at this I want my engine to be in the best shape i can get it before I turbo. So what I want to know if I went ahead and re-built the internals with new stock parts would I be fine? Will I be able to run a higher psi? And the final question (just incase this plan is trashed eventually) How much would a 3s swap cost roughly? This project, no matter what, isn't going to start till next spring so I have plenty of time to think about it and ask questions.

Ok I went to a couple of sites looking for a fuel pump for the ST turbo. Well now I am competly lost. All bring up a TCA324 walbro fuel pump. Now is this a 255lph fuel pump or just a replacement of the factory one. What has everyone else used on their ST-T.

As far as I knoe JGS hsa quit making the manifold so you have to go custom. That right there makes it a pain in the ass don't it. Do some research though you might find that turboing the st isn't what you want to do. I am not telling you to do anything else I am just saying research you options. I am going to re-build my internals and then turbo. As for JSG not making the manifold I am not 100% sure but pretty sure they are not making it anymore.

Their isn't much you can do to our cars unless you have money. Or you do what they said and take everything out. But overall look at the good side if your car has been well taken care of it will practically outlast anything on the road (except another toyota.) But if you have the money you can do the mods.

Find the the biggest fan in your house. Strap it to the top of your car and wire it to the battery. That should at least look like you tried to be cheap on performance. Just Kidding.

Oh and when someone asks what the hell it is. Tell them it is a custom turbo! ..................HaHa!
