Whats with all the talk of engine swapping?. Why join a celica owners club if you just want to turn yours into a supra...with a celica skin?

Dont forget that youd need to upgrade the rest of the car to take the extra power incl brakes. You could buy a supra for less than it would cost to do an engine swap and none of the crap that goes with a job like that.

Have you not looked into what can be done with your existing engine? rolleyes.gif

And if you had lots of money..would you really be driving around in a Celica in the first place?

youll be needing filter cleaning kits cause thats going to get all clogged up with dirt fast.... and flies n stuff. A scoop from the underneith of the car and a pipe going up to the filter is a better option.

had this in a previous car i had, clunked like that, found out what it was when the clutch pedal suddely went flat to the floor and heard lots of grinding, gearbox mounting ripped itself away from the box and left a hole in the top of the gearbox and the engine hanging down at one end. It was a loose gearbox mounting.

Probably not the same thing but it reminded me a lot of that. Just get it checked at Toyota dealer, it wont cost you anything for them to look, putting it on a lift or better, over a pit would help cause you could make it clunk while theyre underneith.

to benefit properly you need the exhaust, decat pipe, air filter and most importantly have the ECU chipped.

I have the HKS super dragger which has a big can, rather than the small style ones which are loud and raspy like the HKS hyper which is fkin loud
With my one its quiet(ish) and deep bass when cruising and loud smooth bass under acceleration but you can still hear the engine so i like it.

I want a single unit to fill the double unit gap, none of that fold out screen stuff though cause its too expensive, or i want twin units like an Alpine setup i saw on an import Celica i went to see before i bought the one i have.

Post any model numbers or links for some good examples if you have any. Thanks

Whats the actual name for the thing that holds the rear numberplate? I want to take my UK long plate holder off and put a jap style small plate holder on, having trouble looking for one cause i dont know what its actually called. Anyone know what the name is and where i might find one? part number?

The late spec JDM lights are the nicest ones you can buy in my opinion, they are class.
