Sweet looking car bud, A mate of mine has one, The 1.8 Eunos RS Spec it is now as opposed to V Spec when he got it lol

He loves it although it is partial to tyres although that's likely his driving style lol

He has done a fair bit more to it but I've not got any recent pics frown.gif

I live in the UK and watch Top Gear every week, some of the stuff they do is ridiculous, Made a van into a Hovercraft, Turned a car into a train and the usual stupid stunts.

This is one of my favourite episodes (In my local shopping centre with a Vette)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e7R3y-qwZ0

Took the cleaners 3 hours to clean up the rubber the Vette left on the floor biggrin.gif

My latest car (Not even Jap) but surprisingly quick and easy to tune wink.gif

Leon 1.8 20v T Cupra producing 180bhp yet still gives back 35mpg when gunning it or 40-45 on a run, More than my Celica ever did,
6 speed manual box,
Easily / Safely mapped to 215bhp 230lb's torque,
Plenty of toys to keep me amused Traction control mainly which is needed wink.gif

Removed badges is my only mod just has a few small niggles to sort then I'll be happy smile.gif

If you've got a 94-95 the rails are either slightly different in length or width I can't remember which it was but it's not as much of a pig to do as some expect it to be

Over in the UK the 96+ rails are the same as the others so I'd not expect too much to be different possibly wiring for airbags but that should be about it,

Obviously you'd not be able to use the airbags in the seats from the 7gc

Do you have the 140's over there or just the 190's? GT's or GT-S aren't they :S

Hiya mate not been here for a while but yeah the 7gc rears fit straight in without too many issues and the fronts don't quite line up so they'll need a little welding done to fabricate them to mount easily enough

I'd recommend that you don't go for leathers as they wear very quickly and look ****e when they're marked up lol

If you go for the cloth seats from a 7gc 140 if you get them not the 190 version you'll get better seats

Here's mine from my white Celica

And yes I had the 7gc wheel as well, Makes a lot of difference to the interior IMO smile.gif

Now that's not very nice Box lol

It's not that the car is bad by any means but the issue I've got is that I'm comparing them to my white one and the only thing that would come close is a faff but they're too expensive to buy in the first place let alone run lol

To be honest mate if the US is anything like the UK then you'll sometimes struggle to find the right PCD wheels in a half decent fitment.

The issue I found when I had my MR2 which is 5 x 114.3 was that the majority of 5 x 114.3 wheels were on 200sx's, Soarers, Supra's and Skylines so the majority of them are too wide ie 8.5 or 9J

Don't get me wrong 'm not saying don't do it but if you wanted to you could make life easier by getting some alloys from an Impreza or similar then get your 20mm spacers?

I don't know too much on exchange rates over here but a set of Koni yellow's are 554 quid. As for ride height etc surely if you set up the car with the correct offset wheels etc you wouldn't need to adjust the heights etc anyways? I mean if you're going to lower for shows or you're on bags or whatever then yeah lower it all the time but I can't say that it seems like the adjustable ride height would be needed. I'd rather have the adjustable damping personally and save a couple hundred quid

I maybe miles off here but if you get coilovers is the actual spring itself that's different or just the spring rates?

Smoked tails = Rice IMO,

People do it over here on stupid POS Vauxhall's and Fords and think it looks good but to me it doesn't.
I will admit though there's a g6 on here I've seen, literally slammed, either spoilerless or a duckbill and last time I remember it with baby blue 6 spoke rims with the different colour surround and it did look quite tasty but I think as it had the stance to divert away from the plate holder it worked

Personally I wouldn't touch the rear plate holder on yours Ken, I've seen it done on a few cars including my old one and I don't think it fits in, I think the only way to do that would be to go for CF wrap but even then it still looks out of place IMO

Granted it's your car your taste etc but to me it's not so much of a good look smile.gif

QUOTE (Box @ Oct 2, 2013 - 4:58 PM) *
Spend an obscene amount of money making it more like your first one. tongue.gif

The first was an ST tongue.gif

The White one was my second one and I'm sure you can imagine how much I spent on that LOL

For the same money I'd put into this I could get something quicker ie a GT-Four if I wanted one lol

Certainly didn't.

3 weeks and I'm writing the FS advert already frown.gif

I just can't bond with it if that makes sense. I keep comparing it to my white one and truth be told it's just nowhere near it for handling, speed, response or comfort frown.gif
