Just like the title says, I have four stock 96 celica ST wheels with the original hubcaps. They are in great condition and will post pictures if anyone is interested. They are in boxes in my garage in Clifton, Va (Northern VA) if anyone is in the area make and offer and they are yours (Just looking to get rid of them). I am not limiting this to local pickup but I figured it would cost more to ship them then they are actually worth. Thanks for looking. |

Finally came up with a solution. I used the Winplus touring items type S universal holder. Instead of attaching it to the vent I took of my shift knob, popped the bottom center dash peice out, put the metal clips in between the top dash section and the bottom, and popped the bottom back in. I did it over near the cig light so I had to take that off but I don't smoke. It holds tight and doesn't interfer with shifting. I also got one of those tight fitting silicone cases which holder it in even tighter. Thanks for the ideas everyone and maybe this will help someone else. |

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 13, 2006 - 10:17 PM) best part about my ipod holder.... its a generic cell phone holder that i got from the 1$ store! I take it that was just a random find at a store. Is it anywhere to be found on the Internet? |

I am selling a Blaupunkt Headunit. 220 Watss Max Power 2-Channel Preamp Output DIN/ISO Mounting for Domestic and Import Vehicles Fully Detachable Faceplate. CD Receiver with ORC V Tuner This is a great sounding headunit I used for about 1/2 years with absolutely no problems. I only replaced it becuase I wanted a unit with a front aux input. It is easily installed in the celica and you can do it yourself. It simply scews into the metal brackets inside the dash. No mounting kits are needed. Asking $40 Contact me at stellar1022@hotmail.com if intereted |

I have a 96 ST with 115000 miles on it. It has no problems with it whatsoever except it is using up oil way faster than in should. I have been keeping a real close eye on the level to make sure it doesn't get too low (adding more oil when neccesary). I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem before or has any remedies. Also there is no sign of oil leaks on my garage floor. Any suggestions are welcome and thanks very much. |

Well the new knob doest attach by the threads so worse case is id just stick with that. but id like to have to option of putting the stock back on. I was more worried that if i cut the shifter down the stock knob wouldnt have enough thread to be tight. |

Okay so i bought a new shift knob from Gilbert which is great. But the new knob is a little shorter than the stock knob so there is a small gap of maybe 1/4 inch between the bottom of the knob and the boot. So i was thinking i could just cut the shifter (the actual metal bar) down a little bit so it was flush. In doing this i would be cutting off some of the thread. So if i do cut a small portion of the thread would i still be able to put my stock shifter back on if i wanted to. thanks guys. any sugestions are welcome |

I have a 96 st and my bro has a 97 civic ex. Ive driven his and the whole car drives like poop compared to the celica. The handling is loose compared to the tight suspension on mine. And the clutch like pops out real quick and isnt compfortable at all.. It doesnt even feel like it pulls as good as mine. I just hate civics and celicas look and drive 100 times better. |

Ok guys. I was thinking about buying the autovation 4 peice pedal set. For those that have installed them. I am under the impression that you drill the footrest new pedal right on top of the existing one. Becuase its basically just a plastic block with a little rubber grip on it. The grip on the footrest doesnt come off its built in. My cluth pedal already has holes drilled. And with the gas pedal, do you just have to drill into the existing pedal becuase there is nothing that comes off. Some one let me know how you did it step by step... thanks alot |
