QUOTE(TRDcelica96 @ Sep 5, 2007 - 10:03 PM) would you deliver this car to ohio? I figure a 2 hour radius is about as far as I could go in an evening. Any delivery that I do would have gas paid for by the buyer. Where in ohio are you? It may be possible to work something out. Other stuff: None of the rust is far enough to have weakened the metal, I pushed fairly hard on most of the spots and none of them flexed at all, so it would just be sanding it down and smoothing it off with filler. The ash tray was cut out and replaced with a part I made on a rapid prototyper. it was designed to hold my cell phone on top, and the angled part lifts off for a place to keep my blue tooth headset. Its abs plastic painted flat black, and fits in pretty well other than having a different texture. Feel free to ask for other pics if you don't see something you want to, or want a close up of something. |

haha.... I guess those could be an exception, but the person who takes the car gets first dibs, and if they don't take them, then they'll be on here, but I doubt that will be the case. (they do really look nice on the 6th gen) Remember, the pics of the car with the rims on it are 2 years old. look at the top pics to see the current condition. (all top pics taken sept 4th 07) |

no. I only checked it when I filled up with gas. (always drove til the gas light was on 350-400 miles) and I usually only added a quart between oil changes. It would be something you do want to fix though, as I'm sure it will get worse (it sitting two weeks at a time doesn't help it. I do start it up occasionally and drive it up and down my driveway just to keep stuff moving. (driveway is maybe 20 yards) The battery is new last winter. Plugs and wires maybe 15000 miles ago? Oil changes every 3-4 thousand miles. Also the power antenna doesnt work, and the stock radio is in there, but not hooked up (nobody uses them anyways) |

More Pic... These are the rims the that will also come with. I also have most of the emblems (toyota logos and other words) (these are old pics. shows the curb rash, which looks worse in the pics (you dont really notice it on the car, but would make a good back up set when your project car is done) |

all pms as of this time replied to. more general info: A/c works good, tires on the car hold air decently (slow leak). the oil leak is a very slow drip, when i quit driving it I just checked it on a weekly basis. I have some extra to send with it for the trip home, as well as a few oil filters. I wouldn't drive it more than a few hundred miles. Like I've told other, I will help deliver within a few hour radius, whether I drive it or trailer it. The clutch works, it just slips if you mash the pedal. Those of you on the coasts I wouldn't plan on driving it all the way out there, unless you have the money/time for possible clutch replacement on the way home. I personally wouldn't drive more than a few hours from home, but consistantly drove 2 hours away without a second thought up until I parked it. Its up to you, but I don't want to see anyone stranded either. |

QUOTE(Remy @ Sep 4, 2007 - 8:09 PM) Is it safe or drivable enough to the TC area ?? I'll think about it... What Part? I would help you get it there any evening if you would like. I have a truck and trailer also if you pay gas. But yes, its safe. The tires still have a tread pattern very lightly, but its not fun to drive in the rain at this point. Also let me know if you want to come take a look at it. The plates are expired as of july. |

Car has minor hail damage on top and passenger side (look for distortions in reflections) major damage to the front drivers fender, and medium damage to passenger rear quarter. each high beam has a hole from rocks, rear bumper has a cut in it. I am the second owner, have owned it for almost 3 years, car sat in storage for 3+ years before I bought it. I have the black interior plastic for the trunk. Haynes manual included. It does run, but it burns and leaks some oil. I don't believe that it's the head gasket, there is no white smoke . Needs a new clutch a tires minimum. Has new KYB struts, mounts and boots on all four corners (almost asking price alone) with about 300 miles on them. Interior has a few cigarette burns from first owner. It doesn't smell like smoke at all (hasn't since about a week after I got the car.) I also have a set of Konig Verdicts 17's that will go with it (also need tires) They are in decent shape. Enough from me for now, here are pictures. I wanted to take more, but my camera died, so if I didnt get anything you want to see let me know. Clean Title as well Car is located in Menomonie WI (54751) about 40 min. east of the Twin Cities (30 min from Eau Claire, WI) $700 obo I will not part it out as I don't have the time or the place. Please don't ask. If you want to buy it and part it out for a profit go for it. Its just been sitting around for the last month as I bought an RSX. It was either time to put money into it or get something else. |

QUOTE(DSToyo @ May 27, 2007 - 1:08 PM) well, with an alarm, there would be a blinking light that is visible usually on the drivers side, which i would think would scare the theif away... So for that, save your money and just wire up a blinking LED on your dash, just make sure you can turn it off when your driving. You could do all this for about $5 if you know how to wire up a 555 timing circuit. (not that hard) |

as far as I've been able to find, the only difference was they offered the sport package (sealed front struts) that uses a little different mount on the front. If you have any questions you can call KYB. Theyre really helpful actually. They answered most of my questions (which is good because I had the numbers backwards, but I fixed that in my first post.) I dont think the teins should be a problem, I thought about putting them on, but wasn't sure, and will use the money elsewhere for now. As far as sealed fronts a 94, they should if you bought the right mounts. Anyone else know for sure? I know people with sealed that want to go unsealed can just take mounts off of another car with no problems. |

I know you have to get aftermarket shocks.... stock ones wont last long at all. it really all depends on the type of ride you are looking for. but pretty much no matter what, it will be a lot more rough than if it was stock. |

WI has no inspections... least not in my area (NW WI) but, last i heard legal tints here were 50 for the front and 35 for the rears. |

ok, so after reading this entire section and not completely finding my answer, I have this question. I need to replace my struts, and at least rear strut mounts. now what else in the assembly should/do i need to replace? I am planning to go with the kyb gr2's and kyb mounts. do the mounts come with bearings? any other parts commonly wear out? car has almost 160k on it. is there a way to tell if I need front mounts before I take them apart? also does anyone know of a place cheaper than Import Replacement Parts? Any other advice tips in changing my struts would be appreciated. I have never done them before, but am mechanically capable. I have a chilton's manual for my car, (95 gt liftback) for reference, but everything seems pretty straight foward. not sure if i have the sport suspension package or not... will check tomorrow. If i have the normal suspension, what is different in the precedure? am I just undoing an extra nut, and inserting a cartridge and putting the nut back on vs. just replacing the entire piece? |

Im close... but I'm willing to part with mine... but it needs work. Price would be right for a project car. 95 GT power windows, locks, sunroof. stick, 160 K. has light hail damage, and needs new suspension and tires... Doubt your interested, but thought Id throw it out there. Also... if you see some in the area that you arent interested in... wanna pass them along? I need another celi.... one that i dont have to try and work on. |
