Hi, figured I'd post this if it helps someone out. Couldn't find a new '16 Valve' badge so ended up making my own. Basically removed the old badge with a thin blade, it's plastic so it bends and wasn't too concerned with breaking it. Scanned it in to get size, then edited the scan with the new font, I know it's different but I really liked this one particular font in my toolkit.

Printed multiple copies out in high resolution on printable transparent sheets that are inkjet compatible (see picture, white labels are printed item)

Bought thin aluminum sheet from hobby store, cleaned surface, stuck on sheet and trimmed around with tin snips. Lightly sanded edge to remove sharp edge. Used double sided decal tape on back.

Finally, sprayed with high temperature clearcoat to protect ink.

Cost was about $8 for sheets, $2 for aluminum sheet and couple of bucks for the tape. The clearcoat was $8 but I figure I'll spray other things on the engine.

Update:- Here's how it looks on the engine, note, the heat shield is still horrible, we're working on that next.

Not sure how to delete a reply, I had asked if the parcel shelf was available but I fabricated a new hinge so I'm good.

Folks/admins, I have the complete manuals for 1988, 89, 93, 94 and 2000 in pdf format. Is there somewhere here I can upload them for everyone. Right now I have them on my FTP server but it's hit or miss if I remember to enable it or not.

Got it, going to check it tomorrow.

I had the same problem with the 94 I just bought for my son. I found the fuse was blown but when I put the new one in it blew straight away.

I took a look at the wiring under the dash and there was a bunch of burnt insulation. After a complete dash removal and a swap of the main harness ($40) on eBay ) it looked like the previous guy had wired in his head unit wrong and shorted the instrument lighting, the only way he could have done such major damage to the harness would have been to put a bigger amp fuse.

So, if your fuse keeps blowing check the head unit wiring and check your harness for damage.

I could use the 94 manual, mine's 95 so they should be identical anyway. Thanks. smile.gif

There seems to be a slight misunderstanding, for some. No there is no charge or anything, I found the manuals and I'm just passing them on to anyone who needs them. The 94 manuals are obviously for 6th Gen and not specific to that year.

Yes, I have them on an FTP site, message me thru this site and I'll reply with the details. I really don't want to post the details since its just my home system.

One more thing, I turn the server off at night, time zone being US East coast, so for those who are downloading the manuals and cant connect. it will be back up around 8am. Sorry, but I often see people trying to break into the server if I leave it up and since its a free server, not sure how secure it is.

Folks, just a suggestion as I see some connections using browser credentials. I suggest getting something like Filezilla client to connect, then you can drag the manuals over.

Folks, newbie here because I just bought a 6gc for my son and we're in the process of getting it back to drivable state. In my wanderings across the chaos that is the internet I came across a set of Celica manuals in PDF format. If anyone wants a copy I put them on my FTP server. they are for the following years
1988 Alltrac
1989
1993
1994
2000

Don't know how complete all the years are but so far they've been useful for the 94. Not posting the server name stuff as its my home system. Just message me and I'll pass it on. Or, if the site admin wants them here I'll dump them down (all 386meg of them)

Will these fit a 95 celica gt 2.2 If so I will take them right now!
Thanks
-Zach

They sure do!

New to the site, search hit your springs. Currently doing up a most ugly hatch GT for my son with a suspension that actually hurts going over bumps due to eBay coilovers on the rear. If Zach doesn't take them I will.
