In the words of Dave Chappell "S**t N***A, sometime you gotta race!" >jk< i dont think (other than of course the legality of the issue) that opening up the car everynow and then is a bad thing. But, like stated be smart about it. Sometimes it's best to just know that you can or cannot hang with another driver than to put it to the test and face the concequences. As far as "that movie" tuners have been doing this sort of thing for a long time, and i think that if we were all inspired by that corporate fluff, the majority of the people on this board would be on a Honda/DSM forum. The people here know what thier cars are cabable of and want to do it because it's a part of who they are and what they love. |

I'm looking at Selling my complete set of Headlights. The Passenger side High braket is damaged but i'm confident i can fix it like brand new, other than that the other three are perfectly fine also wanting to sell the oem tails. Let me know if anyone might be interested. *edit* sorry for the confusion guy's the Passenger High is fine it's the Passenger Low that has a damaged bracket. |

Got a query, Is it possible to keep the fog lights in when you do the FMIC. I know that's the route i want to go but if i can keep the fogs, i'd really like to. |

Ok let me add this one statement my friend....if you want turbo swap but do not turbo that engine man! The Beams is meant to be a high compression, high reving engine the st185/205 engine is the ideal boost platform its internals are ment to love and cuddle it. I bego fo you keep your engine the way it is and if you wanna boost buy the gt four clip swap yours and give it to me! YES folks yet another attempt by Bizerk to swipe Maikl's engine! ! |

Well the 205 is another monster all together but im saying the ss-III vs all of the afore mentioned cars. The 3sge engine has to be the crowning achievement in toyota enginering. This engine in it naturall aspirated form 3 gen can hang stock per stock with the GSR B18 and in 97 when the vvti system was added to it....type r b18 at 195 and only 130lbs, the beams 3sge hits with 197 and 152lbs of torque. And this is in a car that still has all the creature comforts like ac, crusie, stereo, yadda yadda yadda. The Type r is a car ment to handle and go fast only....the ss-III is a car that can handle and go fast, but is a pleasure to drive daily....I wish i had vvti YOU MAIKL sell me your car now! |

YOu Dirty! I would slap my momma for the Beams engine dude you want to trade... Oh looky looky great 5sfe power for you! But basically what i say is the "true" form of the celica, The SS-III compared to the Honda Prelude VTEC, or the Type R or the Civic SI since those are the highest trim of each car the Celica is faster, almost as good as handling as the Type R but definatly better than the Civic/Prelude, and we all seem to agree that the celi looks better. |
