I'm getting tired of the Miata I bought about a year ago...Its turbo now, with a lot of other stuff...but i'd trade it in a heartbeat for my old Celica frown.gif Anyway...i'm not really sure why I'm posting this, I just logged on for the first time in about a year. Now i miss it more...If anyone knows of anyone who wants to buy a turbo miata. mine is for sale in Delaware, Ohio...Only $6000!!!! It will be going up on Ebay soon...but until then tell your friends...6GC, I'm comin back older and smarter. I'mm thinkin 3S-GE and some ITB's!!! I've already got my eye on a couple Celi's, this miata's just holdin me down!!!!!!!!!!!!

like the title says, i would like to buy a 5 speed stock, or nearly stock celica gt with less than 110,000 miles...I live in central ohio, and would like one within 100 or so miles (cincy, cleveland ect.) any color considered, as long as it is in good condition...ST 5 speed will be considered, as long as the price is right..black interior is preferred, but...

my email is Licktt@yahoo.com

engine swap

EDIT: I'm assuming you just recently got the car, since you just joined 6gc.net...if so, first think about what you want to do, and not just "go faster!!" duh...think where you want to go faster...curvy backroads, dragstrip, autocross, or just a street terror...then decide how to make your car faster in that area (autocross=better suspension, tires, less weight, then power...drag=power, less weight, tires...backroads=autocross, street terror=drag)...don't know where that came from, lol...anyway, think of it as a guide, use it to keep from having to say "why did i waste my money on that? it didn't even do anything" ...and don't forget, RESEARCH...feel your car as you drive, where ever you decide to drive, find the weaknesses you experience in that area and fix it, then try again after you have put something on, find a new weakness, and fix that and so on...also using the search button on the forum can help you find solutions to weakness you find because somenone else has undoubtedly found the same problem and come up with a solution...Good luck!!

about the seafoam...i was thinking, if it does its job, which is remove carbon buildup and varnish ect., then it is possible that the seafoam could be causing our cars to smoke.....that carbon/varnish could be what is sealing things up, like a headgasket, run seafoam, clean all that crap out and there is no more carbon to seal up cracks...just a thought...i would say to go ahead and run the seafoam earlier in the engines life (60-70,000) and again at maybe say 120,000, and again later...keep the carbon and varnish that the seafoam is designed to romove from forming at all.

is it possible that there is an alignment problem?? incorrect toe/caster/camber can cause the tires to follow grooves in the road, making the car pullto one side

My clutchmasters clutch shook during the break in period, it stopped after about 450 miles...don't know anything about the whining sound, sometimes mine does that if coasting in 1st gear
