Everyone donate to Coomer, for the love of God. He's been paying the bills on the site for around 17 years. Give him a little love <3

YOU NEED TO DONATE NOW

I just gave my $20, you should too smile.gif

Police station, possibly small claims against the tow yard. With divorce issues pending, shouldn't be an issue to get a freeze on the daily fee.

The smaller size is a bit of a concern to me. I'm not huge but at 6' I felt a little cramped in the seat of the 5th gen. It felt a lot like my brother's old paseo honestly in terms of size.

As far as I can tell its totally Cali legal--- with the mods he's done it may fail smog but it shouldn't be that much trouble to get it to pass with a little work.

Anyone got thoughts as to value of this all trac? He was originally asking 9k but after two months with no offers I honk I may be able to get it to 7.5-8k. Is that decent? It's a tough one to value because it's so unusual.

Thanks. I loved her. Probably will get something else for a while and in another 9 years when gt4s become legal in Cali get back into celicas again. Who knows though... Maybe I'll grab this all trac. Still trying to decide.

Hey,

Looking to get into a new car since the insurance company is telling me I'm losing the rental very soon.

Spotted this one for sale, and actually went and looked at it this weekend.

http://www.alltrac.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=42338

It is very clean as the seller describes. I usually am not interested in someone else's project, but I just can't seem to find anything I like in my price range right now (4-8k or so).

What are your thoughts? Any all trac owners with any thoughts? Help!

Hey,

As the title says, im looking to buy another celica. Some idiot ran into me on the way to work.

Looking for something with <150,000 miles. Must be manual and hatchback and a GT. I'm not looking for a half completed project as I do nit currently have a garage to work on it and I need it to get to work every day. Would prefer something in the so cal area so I could see in person before purchasing, but open to other states if it's the right car.

Probably looking for unmodified but may consider a modded car if the work is tasteful and professional.

Please reply to this thread with pics or PM me. I will post updates when I stop looking, so if this is still up here, I am still looking.

Glad to hear you are doing ok. Sometimes the recovery can be no fun at all, so I hope it works out ok.

You'll continue to be in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your loss man.

I hope they lock the guy up for a good long time, so that he, and others, understand drunk/buzzed driving is dangerous, bad, and one of the most selfish things you can do.

GL getting another car (Celi?).

First off, I would never let someone learning how to paint near my car... I'm more the type that going to ask to see cars a shop has worked on, and spend a bit shopping around, especially for paint. However, I know I'm a freak.

What seems reasonable in this situation though? Find out what the school charges him for materials, and pay that. If you want, give him a bit of a tip ($50-100?)... but personally, if they are learning, in a way you are doing them a bit of a favor letting them use your car.

Your call. I think it would be a good idea to call the school and see how much they are charging him for the materials. If its like $50, and he's asking you for $500, tell him to take a hike.

Whats holding it in????

A surfboard strap tied to the place where the back seats lock onto the frame. Tied it, ran it around the back of the couch, then tied it to the other one on the other side. Very tightly.

So for anyone who says "That won't fit in the back of your Celica" you can assure them it will.

Moving in to my new place I found great deal on a couch. And I have a hatchback. And they said it wouldn't fit.

I drove all the way across town, and now have an awesome leather couch in my studio.

Hey guys!

Had a great time with everyone, great putting some faces behind names!

For anyone interested, we had a total of 25 cars show up.

I posted some low quality photos over at Meet photos

I'll be spending some time editing the better ones, and putting up larger images probably tomorrow, but I just wanted to get something up fast.

Dude. This sounds awesome. Car is down with some suspension issues right now, but should have it fixed by then no problem. Didn't have a chance to read all the threads about this yet, but I'll read up tomorrow for more info (tired.)

Mark me down as attending though! This looks great.

I have a 94 so the struts are old, and I've got a spoiler and lifters with no problems at all.

Maybe get new hydraulic things for the rear hatch?

I'm sorry for your friend.

It kinda a sinking feeling in your stomach the few minutes after a crash like this.

That really bites. I guess its a good thing no one was on the sidewalk. On of my friends lost her 2 year old daughter to a driver hoping up on the sidewalk like that. I thank God that nothing like this happened with your friend.

If I recall the yelli celi saw its demise... two years ago? Maybe a year? If I remember some young punk bought it and promptly ran it into a tree.

I remember reading a thread on that way long ago. I just spent a few minutes searching for it, but I can't seem to find it. Pretty sure its toast though.

Holy crud Jaws! you're still around doing this? Thats awesome.

I remember when this thread started... what... a couple years ago?

I just flipped through the forums today for the first time since April I think... and I checked this thread out.

Awesome job... I'm guessing probably half of the people on this site have sigs because of you.

Anyways. Keep up the good work. Rock on bud.

Hey Doggy!

Long time man. Your garage always amazes me.

Still sporting those turn signals you made me like... 5 years ago or something.
