I saw a how-to/web article years ago where somebody did this to some car, and they used heavy duty aluminum foil to coat the trunk with, then fiberglassed on that to get a perfect mold of the trunk. Then they built their new trunk on top of that mold. I have no idea where I saw that, I think someone had done it to a Supra, but I'm not sure anymore. |
