Probably a long shot but on my way home I saw a nice blue Celica, partially debadged on the rear (only the toyota emblem). It was either a '94 or '95, had tinted rear windows and fog lights. He gave me a wave and I followed him for a few kilometers before our paths split. I thought I knew all the Celicas in the city but I had never seen this blue one before so I'm hoping there's a chance you're on here... and even if you're not, I had the 6gc.net stickers in my window so maybe you'll come check it out. smile.gif

Maybe you've already got a quote on this, but I recently had my driver's door skin replaced and the body shop's price on the skin itself was just under $400. It was cheaper than I expected it to be.

I searched around but wasn't really able to find an answer... I went to the parts store recently and asked for a pre-cat O2 sensor for a 94 Celica 2.2L, and was sold a universal sensor of some no-name brand, which is fine because it was cheaper and that's what I was going for. However, the sensor they sold me has four wires and the one I'm looking to replace only has one. I saw one other topic regarding this where someone explained that a four-wire sensor is a heated sensor where two of the wires are for the heater, one ground and one signal... anyways, my question is this. Should I return the sensor and hope they can get me a one-wire sensor or can I make the four-wire one work? Will it work if I just hook up the ground wire and the signal wire?

Thanks.

frown.gif i had no idea it was that hard to buy one!! Why cant you import them from Japan? There are always at least 5 for sale locally (within 20miles) over here kindasad.gif

Since they were never imported by Toyota in the first place there is no crash test data etc for them... However in a few years they will be legal for import in Canada (any car over 15 years old can be imported to Canada) so that's what I'm waiting for.

Funny, I've never had a problem with my filter, yet when I changed my oil yesterday it took me a good 20 minutes to get the drain nut loosened.

Hey whats up guys? I was just wondering if there was a cheap way of changing my front bumper(ST) without spending a ton of money. Thought about just buyin of front bumper but then i would need sideskirts and so on. Has anyone ever done something cool with a front ST bumper without spending a whole lot of money? Pics if u have em. Thanks for the help guys! -John

I'm pretty sure people have cut out the middle to make it resemble the GT-4 bumper. I'm pretty sure Coomer tried that at one time but abandoned the project. There should be some pics kicking around though.

Hey guys, been awhile since I've posted but I'm back. I already tried doing a search for this but it wasn't very helpful...

Was wondering if 225/45 tires would be alright for my 16" rims? I used one of those calculators and it said 0.4% off from 205/55/15 (stock, iirc) but then I came here to do some searching and see if I could find anyone else using that size and all I could really see was people using 205/50 (which comes up on this calculator as 0.8% off, but I know that's still not bad).

I frequent importconern.ca and have been looking at some of the Nissan Pulsar GTi-Rs they have listed. I think one of those would be hella fun... SR20DET, AWD, hatchback. Fast.

Also curious why this is a budget kit... seems a lot better than most eBay kits I see.

I need a bunch of the interior trim pieces including:

Center console, shifter trim, left and right vent trim, and if you had power windows/doors I'll also take the door trim pieces that house those switches... let me know if this is all available.

Seems a bit weird to me that he's boosting 15psi since he's using the stock intercooler and doesn't even have the GT4 hood or any type of vent at all... Am I missing something?

He's not really attacking he car company, he's just saying he thinks the car itself looks junky.

It doesn't knock in turns, it knocks after turns, repeatedly. And looks like I've found the problem... I thought it was the rear left wheel, but after today I'm pretty sure it was the rear right wheel. Was walking up to the car and noticed that my rear right wheel had only 3 lugnuts on it... and the 3 that were on it were kinda loose. I tightened it up and then moved a lugnut from my rear left wheel onto that one so I had two wheels with 4 instead of one with 3. The rim is still in good shape thankfully. The two lugnuts that had come off weren't side by side so there wasn't really any excess pressure on one part of the wheel.

So I went to a couple places to try and get lugnuts... Nope. I showed them what I needed and they all told me that I would have to go straight to Toyota for them but knowing Toyota they'll be $20 each or something. Anywhere online I can get them cheap?

Recently I've been experiencing a rather annoying knock that seems to be coming from the rear left wheel or at least that area. The knock, when it occurs, increases as speed does and is not affected by engine RPM. It seems to start after I've hit a bump or taken a corner, and is solvable every single time by bringing the car to a stop and then starting again. I've taken off the wheel to see if I can notice anything wrong but it all seems to be in good order to me. Anyone have ideas? Do I just need an alignment maybe?

I think it would be kinda neat to have a TRD body kit on a Chevy Cavalier. Not that this is something I would do, but people would be really confused if there were TRD emblems on the kit.

If the front bumper and hood are included in good condition then you could either sell them to make back some money (~$1500) or just put them on your car.

Yeah, I didn't take my sub or amp out so I had to go one tire on the front seat, two in the backseat and one in the hatch. Worked pretty well... and now I've got myself a nice set of 16" GT-S rims...
