Dan,
do you feel like the superstrut "darts" when you get it past a certain point in a corner? Or does it just corner well?

I ask because if I make a right hander in mine it feels ok, almost normal. But if I make a left hander, christ almighty hold on. On a track it would have darted down to the inside on the apron.

Inherently I know that there's a joint issue somewhere in the superstrut, been too lazy to actually diagnose it and change parts, but wondering if the right hander or the left hander is the problem after re reading some of the last years posts.

Could be a loose bushing bolt. When you turn, the outside wheel takes the load and its enough to shift a loose joint. Does the superstrut have crush tubes and are yours installed?

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead, but did you ever sort out the problem? I have the exact same issue with the speed sensor and cam sensor codes, except my engine pulls to redline. I did have a temporary issue where the ecu was pulling %25 fuel regardless of the O2 sensors being plugged in or not, but now the only issue is those same two persistent codes you had.

Sorry to restart an old thread, but is there enough room between the axle/block to wrap the 3 individual pipes side by side around the axle and THEN merge them into the main pipe below?

Wholy **** man im convinced im ditching the 3mz stuff for this. Seeing clean 2gr engines on ebay for under1300 shipped changed my mind lol. I DEMAND A DYNO!!

dont quit so quickly. There was a ton of work involved in this swap. Lots of electrical and fab work. the 3MZ has been proven and a much easier swap.

Agreed.. But i read every post of his 2 threads and dont see anything that scares me besides hacking the frame; which i have a friend who welds for a living so ill be fine there.

All i heard was "torque beyond your wildest dreams"lol

not a ton of work. Ton of research, only. the swap is as complicated as any other swap. I feel like a 3sgte is complicated more. as you have to upkeep turbo.

the wiring was hard, because I converted a 5 plug harness to a 2 plug harness. If you get the 2 plug harness, you will be ok. Making a fuse box is easy.

Plus, once you are done, you will have torque beyond your dreams.

All i heard was "torque beyond your dreams"lol

Idk how much vaccuum and water hoses you got, but you might could re-rout/extend those to give you more clearance to run that "loop" over the axle/tranny.

Can you cut some off the end of the rear header, and wrap it over the top of the axle?
