Iīve already been at a mechanic...they told me, that it needs to demount the whole engine block - than it would be possible to tell me something!
but, I canīt afford that big of working time, it would need to do that!

I already took down the cylinder barrier and lighted it with a probe...so, I would have been able to see the 4 valves in each cylinder and possible damages!but - there was none!
Then I started the engine and checked the compression in each cylinder with a manometre -> Same compression in each of it!
As a reason of that, I donīt think, that the piston or the piston ring are the problems!

Has anyone of you guys ever had a similar problem???

regards, senzay

need your help, guys,

I think of having a great problem with my engine! frown.gif
probably, as a reason of low oil level, my engine started with makinī strange noises...it sounds like a metal piece striking against another one with high frequency!
First, I thought, that the piston hits the valves when compressing! The problem seems to be in the 4th cylinder...
Is it possible, that the piston ring broke? confused.gif

Really donīt know what to do!
Does anybody know, what it needs to fix it???

Thanks in advance,
kind regards...

I īve got the Alpine CDA 9835 R!Certainly, itīs the greatest headunit I know!Actually, itīs the same as 9831...the only difference is the display!
Iīm not experienced with Clarion headunits!Just can give you the advice of buying the 9831...of course, it depends on what you need at all!

Keep it up,

I canīt imagine, that the matter are switch & fuses, because the mirror on the drivers side works properly. Is it possible, that the engine of the electrical mirror was broken down?

hey guy,

I had the same problem some weeks ago...itīs pretty difficult to pop off the side air vent at the passengers side because of those plastic clips which are supposed to snap in!

It took me about an hour to pop it off!

well, I think it would be easier to get it done, if you īd remove the glove box first...lie under the vent and you will see the clips!Try to lever it by using a screwdriver or something like that...perhaps you will need someone pulling it out while you are lying under the vent!;-)

Unfortunately, while pulling it out, the two plastic clips got broken!
But it doesnīt matter, if it brakes...it wonīt make any problems when you put it in again!

By the way, post some pics when you got it done! ;-)
Here is one of my interior!

I did not disconnect the cable ever before...I just demounted the controller...if you ever tried to paint your central console, you īd know what I mean!;-)
In my opinion, the cord is not long enough to turn the knob!Is it possible, that when demounting the controller it was getting clamped anywhere? It seems to be quite stretched...

If I made some grammatical mistakes, Iīd feel sorry ;-) English is not my native language ;-)

hope you can help me...

Has anyone of you ever got the problem of being not able to turn the temperature controller for aeration to the coldest position?
I demounted the controller for getting the central console out!
When I tried to fix it again, I realized the problem!
I think, that the cable, controlling the flap for HOT/COLD clamps anywhere...

Does anybody know, how to repair the temperature regulator?

If so, let me know please!
