you can't access the rear speakers without taking out the panel which has two bolts that are in your backseat part that folds down ... but you can look at them through the grille... however, to remove them or to mess with wiring or anything, you gotta take out the seat part that folds down, and the panel

i mounted my switches where the cupholders would pull out, since our cupholders SUCK, right on the center console down toward the storage space below the ashtray/phonetray and i have two braces that came with the kit mounted vertically bolted into my sheet metal of the door so it looks like a long stick (braces) going up and down with a motor in the middle... if you need clarity, i could throw up a pic after work or email it to you... but basically its

l bolt here, into hole in door panel
l
l
l
O motor here, with wires nicely ziptied to keep them out of torques way
l
l
l
l bolt here, into hole in door panel that i made again... just drill into it (dont be scared) and you'll see how the motor mounts up when you mount the braces to the motor (cut off excess bracing that protrudes past where you bolt it on, if their is some)

uhm, all i know is that you have to take out the back seats and panels to get to that back speaker, tis not diffucult just takes about 10 minutes unless your pro... but fronts, just take off the door panel, because you must, tis not diffucult either, and im not sure if they will fit or not, but im optimisitc ... can't wait to hear how well you think they are, im contemplating getting type-r's so if s's sound good, r's gotta be great! yay alpine!

i've installed my power windows using spal's kit, it was not diffucult at ALL... but, ill try to pull off my door panel and snap some shots here after work tonight, just make sure you use enough bracing on the motor, and tape/zip-tie the wires so that when the motor tenses up that the wires wont tear (this is not good) and that the motor doesnt torque too much (not good either) ... but, all in all is not a hard install, where are you going to mount your switches?

My 95 ST has Cruise Control, and im guessing it's stock, but alot of the things on my car aren't stock (sunroof, power windows, power doors) and it was from whoever had the car before me, so i cant be positive its not aftermarket

that's the security system that mine is... my remote says that on it... i also only have one... and i doubt it's stock... because the wiring isn't "professional" ... as in the brain is electric-taped/heatshrinked... and not all "pro" ... ill load a pic of it when i get a chance

yeah, be VERY careful using jigsaw's... plenty of protection, i have 2 friends w/out fingers for this reason (doing car mods) but, dont be scared of them, just be cautious. But Band-saw's are good for the fine-tuning, so are rotary (dremel) tools. So you could cut out big, then fine-tune it with a rotary tool.

Thanks for the input, the purchase was spur of the moment, kinda. And i got it dirt cheep so Im satisfied. Any bass is better than what I got now (nothing). But which would be better mounting for the amp; under the seat, in the door panel (rear side, in the fenderwell), or in the hatch mounted to the box or near it, or attached to the rear seat back.?

Alrighty, i ordered one A8000T audiobahn amplifier and AW1206T subwoofer from IKesound.com it's a 800W RMS amp @ 2 OHMS, and the sub is 1100 W RMS, which i can wire at 2 OHMS. I am planning on buying a Q-Logic or some sort of box to mount the sub in. Here's some pics of the sub and amp biggrin.gif user posted image

I think im gonna get a professional to install it, since my parentals dont want me drilling into my firewall, and what not with the power for the amp. But i want some direction on where to mount the box, and amp, keeping in mind cooling for the amp (black plastic/interior, in mississippi) but also for use of the hatch, I also want to know angles for the sub to project into a hatch, and what not... any hints*tips*etc.... it'll all be greatly appreciated-THNX-BTW it's a 95 ST. I'm not really intereseted in SPL but more SQ, and I mostly listen to rock (incubus, blink 182, jimmy eat world etc...) but the occasional rap comes out ocassionally. biggrin.gif bowdown.gif
