Just picked up 98 foglights, bumper and side skirts at a local pick a part. Sad to say I think the car belonged to a member who was recently rear-ended out here in so-cal. |

A lil over due for an update.. Work has been killer and I finally had time to do the steering wheel swap. 7th gen clock spring harness spliced/soldered in. Airbag did not deploy on start up whoooo lol All in all not to bad of a swap. Wiring was the most nail biting part but glad it worked out ok Still waiting to do the single gauge pod.. Debating which boost gauge to buy |

Go with a 4th gen 3S-GTE instead of a BEAMS. Send the harness to mr220v and then all you'll need to do is set up a FMIC and drop the engine in the bay. BEAMS is a lot more fun than a 5S or 7A but still slow. Exactly what Rochee said.. Glad I went 4th gen insanely fun and fairly priced on eBay Mr220v did my harness and came out amazing. When people see my swap they think it came factory |

Find a GT at the junk yard and take the PS reservoir and hard lines. I paid like $20 for all.. I used the ST215 pump and ST lines coming from the steering rack |

First I wanted to say thank you to all the people on this board for sharing their knowledge. All the mods I have done to my car I have searched and found on this site. I want to thank all the contributors sharing the experiences good and bad.. Ok now on to the car. I bought my 95 ST Coupe Auto about 2 years ago from a coworker at a great price.. Motor was knocking but driveable. My initial plan was to rebuild the worn out 7A But then decided I might as well do a swap as rebuilding a motor was not my forte. I have done N/A to Turbo Mr2 swaps so I chose the 4th gen 3SGTE for its newer design. Don't really have any pictures after I completed the swap, I'll try and find some and post later. The power on the 4th gen is amazing, unbelievable the how powerful it is in stock form. Here are some crappy iphone pics of my progress.. First day I bought her And a couple before pictures As she sits now face lift bumper TC Wheels |

Hey everyone, I'm finally introducing myself. I've been a member for a couple of months and I've finally decided it was time to post. I live in Southern California by the CAlifornia Speedway. i have always had a spot in my heart for Toyotas.Im 26 married and just bought a new home so ill be slowly buying things for the Celi. I bought a 95 celica ST coupe from a coworker with 315K miles on the original motor about 3 months ago. The 7afe finally devoloped rod knock so I took it off his hands for $600! I've been mainly searching and reading a ton of info you guys have provided.I'm currently in the middle of a 4th gen 3SGTE swap, have all the old stuff out just waiting on the motor. I'm quite familiar with the 3S and read up on what I need to do as far as mounts, axles and wiring..my brother has a fourth gen swapped MR2 that he wired himself so I might try and tackle the wiring myself(with his help), but I know all about Dr tweak.I'm also an active member on mr2oc for about 6 years now.. I've owned a lot of Toyotas over the years. I've had a... 87 Celica ST in High school 86 mr2 N/A right after. 91 mr2 Turbo 2nd gen 3S pushing over 300hp 89 supra turbo that I sold to get married 87 mr2 with the high comp "Red top" 4age I know starting with an ST is harder but I'm excited for the end result. Hope I didn't ramble too much and hopefully I can meet a lot of great people and help with whatever knowledge I may have lurking around. |
