Nope. Not complaining about not spending enough on gas, just wanting to be able to drive more than 300 miles on a tank before filling up. Would love to go 350-400 without worrying about running out of gas. Kind of a drag to have to fill it up just as often as the Toyota Pickup that i just got rid of. |

I most certainly not having anyone fill the tank for me. I guess I am just not used to a fuel warning light that comes on with 2-3 gallons left. I mean, that is 50-75 additional miles i can go once the light comes on. I guess that is possible, just kind of nervewracking staring at that light without knowing for sure. |

Just got a 1999 GT Convertible. I read the book and know that the car has a 15+ gallon tank. However, I am never able to get more than 12.8 gallons in the tank, even when i have driven with the fuel light on for about 15 miles. What gives? Anyone else have this problem? I guess what I want to know is whether it is shutting off before it fills or if the fuel light is coming on with like 3 gallons left in the tank. I know i read that some of the Scion xA and xB were having some sort of problem such that the only way to fill the tank was to insert the fuel upside down when filling so that the auto shut off would not happen as easily. Please help! I gotta know why I cant get 15 gallons in this thing. Thanks in advance! |

Just got a 1999 Celica GT Conv. Looking for best way to clean the black canvas convert top. Also, looking for a good product to waterproof the canvas, as I understand it, the canvas is only water resistant unless treated with proofing. The autoparts stores out here stink, all I could find was "Blue Magic" Convertible cleaner and protectant. Judging by the looks of the bottle, this is not the product I was looking for for waterproofing. Any suggestions? |

Hello everyone! I just got a nice 1999 Celica GT Convertable. It has the 8 speaker stereo with the double DIN sized deck with CD/ Tape/ Radio. Couple questions: 1. What are the specs on the deck and speakers? Is this the same Deck that I think was in other 1995-1999 Toyotas that ran about 120 watts? 2. Does this deck have CD Changer controls? 3. Anyone been able to find a way to add an AUX input to the back of this deck in order to run an IPOD/ MP3? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
