Just wondering, is the celica 1.8/2.0 thesame as a celica 5sfe (GT) in terms of suspension?

Neither did I and I'm really happy with the drop they give, just enough to get rid of some of the wheel gap but not too low.

Awesome! Thanks for that. My mind is at ease now lol

Ive been searching the forums, so forgive me if I missed anything regarding Koni and Tein S techs... I went through it and read mainly people having coilovers or eibach lowering springs, mixed with such and such struts etc. But I want to know if Koni yellows will go well with S techs. I have purchased the S techs off ebay, and I would like to install Konis to go with it. I have read that it gives a harsher ride? But thats for a subaru legacy. Yet I'm also hearing that Tein S techs are comfortable, as in close to stock feelng... Will it bottom out when I hit big bumps?

Well, my order for the springs went through. I'm going with Tein S techs, with Koni shocks. Im not keen on the rebuild with the coilovers. I want something thatll last.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Decided I'll do more research on Springs. Thinking about upgrading to Koni sport shocks first. Pretty pricey though. Wonder if it's worth it.

I was wondering if anyone here knows for sure if this particular vendor is selling genuin Tein S Techs? Or does anyone know of a reputable dealer who sels genuine Teins, and will ship internationally to Australia? I've just been reading alot about fake ones being sold on eBay. I have the link here. Would you buy it if you were after Tein S techs.

Welcome back smile.gif
Where did you get the extractors from?

QUOTE(axelrduvirage @ Mar 1, 2008 - 8:23 AM)

nice car, mate!! (i love to use that in context biggrin.gif ). BTW what are extractors?

I got my extractors from a muffler shop where it was ordered from hurricane...

Extractors are also known as headers. Theyre pipes where the original manifold was. I cant really explain Basically, based on my understanding it's a manifold made for performance. Maybe in the states or north america theyre called headers...

The power and grip also the rear view as the GT4 spoiler frames the rear hatch. The looks we get when in a GT4 convoy on a hot summers day, nothing beats it smile.gif
Oh yeah, and flames biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

lucky GT4 owners... I would kill for a GT4 lol...

I like the looks, and engine power is good enoguh for me considering its only a daily driver... I have a 5sfe btw. But one day, itll have to be a 3sgte...

If i were you, id just buy a ****ty small car. its better for ST's to stay ST's or move up to GT's than for GT's to move down to ST level. You'll wish you had a GT later on in the track.

Better get ur engine tuned, cos mines ok.
