Let me know if anyone needs misc parts or anything on the car, parting it out planning on building it later

Been working on getting my Celica running again but lost interest due to not having enough tools like an engine hoist but I am ready to get this done. If any one minds getting more some advice on swaps and rebuilds as this is my first one. Live in anaheim .ca

What transmission should I look for if in doing the manual swap and what motor should I pair it with. I've already got everything off so I can pull my engine I'm just waiting on the hoist.

wouldnt it be cheaper to rebuild the motor and put it back in ?

Looks exactly like my car just how it used to be maybe it was a previous owner but that's definitely her haha.

Figured it was a rod so should I just do the rebuild kit or what's the best option after this my trans is already pretty much dead too wanting to go to manual also

Hey got a 94 celica it ran out of gas one day filled it with gas the next morning started it up and it was making this noise I have a video I'll try to upload of the sound but currently taking it apart to diagnose it. Thinking a may be a rod or rocker arm problem.

So when i start my car up sometimes, it does not want to stay started unless i keep on the gas otherwise it shuts off. Also, when i put it in reverse it does not always go right into gear sometimes even not at all, when it does it jumps in ad out but the other gears work besides it seeming like its been shifting into other gears on its own or when ii let off the gas a a little, its an automatic. please if someone could help

I NEEEEEEDDDDDD the stock exhaust manifold and cats for smog I currently have headers and I'm willing to trade my headers or but someone's stock stuff so please let me know if you're local and can help



Cars alreay three months overdue on tags so I'm really hoping to find it so she doesn't get parked in the garage forever

My car shakes dramatically when I turn my ac on but my ac still works amazing. Sometimes when I start my car it starts up fine but idle drops down to almost the point where It shuts off but it doesn't.



anyone in CA could help me with my smog I need to talk with someone who knows their ****, if anyone close wants to trade headers for stock manifold let me know asap

I have aftermarket short ram heads on my 94 2.2l and I just bought the stock exhaust manifold for it but I need the preconverter now which goes right below the exhaust manifold.


Where can I find one cheaper then new cause it's 200$ new.
Or if there's any locals that would be willing to trade while I get my smog done I will be willing to give you money but I need it done it's a month past registration.


Please help somebody I don't want this to be the end of my baby 😔

Registration is due soon and I cant smog my car because my header... anyone interested in selling a stock exhaust manifold or maybe buying mine??

buying mine as in buying my header

When I put my car in gear it shakes the whole car just had a used engine put in about 5k ago as new motor mounts but I don't believe it'd be from there cause it's only once in gear... Could it be the tranny reaching it's age now?

what stock headers are interchangable with my 94 celica its a 2.2L and is that all i need is the stock headers

I need to pass my 94 celica for smog but I have headers and they won't touch them. Do I have to get the stock headers or is there a way to by pass the test with the headers on.
