I bought a JDM 3sge with the 5sp tranny and I been looking around and come up with multiple answers. Im thinking it didnt come with lsd, am i right? LSD came in the SS-III and the GT-Four correct? Im selling my project car and i wanted to make sure i give the correct info to the buyer and i didnt want to be an a*** and say it is lsd when its not, but if it is then big plus for the buyer .

Im selling my 99 cellca gt with a complete jdm 3sge gen 3 swap. I just listed a selling ad on here, 1000. It a incomplete project so it needs a tow.

Not looking to part out but if car doesnt sale and for the right amount of money i may consider it.

I have a project celica gt up for salesale that i dont really have time to work in anymore and i could use the money to finish up another project. It has a JDM complete swap 3sge and 5sp transmission; with about 70k miles on it (the jdm odometer reads 125,xxx km when removed from front clip ) and a clean primmered body with 180k miles on it. I have a spare 2.2 5sfe block that I will give with the car. Was planning on stroking up this jdm 2.0 to the 2.2 (parts are interchangable). Also will throw in an extra 5sfe 5sp transmission from the stock motor flawless smooth shifting (again parts are interchangable so it will fit the 3sge swap). I need to clear up some space and put to money toward my other project. Other wise I wouldn't sell it. I believe in and honest sell and Iit.m letting you know every detail about the car, so rest assure no bs here also title in hand.
I estimate $550 to get this project completed. Hard for.me to sell but i have to come to my senses and let some of my projects go. Got 4 projects going on in my driveway lol.

Wire harness needs to be plugged up
Needs a right axle
Needs an exhaust system
Needs radio
Needs the back seats bolted back up also with some other misc piecies ( I have everything in my closet)
HMU on here

Still working on that harness, but while I have y'all attention; the 5sfe CC axles are suppose to work with the 3s. I can't seem to fit the long axle ( one with the half shaft)

Oops I seem to be back tracking. The harness that I bought came complete and uncut. So considering your input, I'm guessing I do have a problem in the starter circuit. Possibly a shorted wire. I will take a look at that green book at post my findings. Also thanks alot for your help.

Its a manual chassis swaping in a manual motor and trans. Yeah its the reverse switch. Idk I may have to take the whole harness out to trace the problem or see if this ecu is bad is there a way to check if its bad or not, I did buy it at such a low price.

Oh on the whole wiring thing, I didn't cut the harness apart. When I said I made the RHD harnesses to fit LHD; I was saying that I just took those hard plastic covers off the harness and some of the electric tape off so that I could flip the harness to fit at the moment. It kinda messy by will send it off to a shop to extend the wiring, some wires are little tight for comfort, the only wire that wasn't plugged in b/c they weren't long enough was the wire for the speed sensor or reverse switch on top of the tranny........ hmmm could that actually be the neutral switch?

All connection seems to be there. I'm gonna check the wiring diagrams to really make sure everything goes where they are suppose to. I have a feeling that I have a odbII to obdI type of problem.....

I'm pretty sure the throttle cable is sticking or the throttle itself is somehow getting stuck open. Nothing io serious.

Yeah I kinda figured that it was the door alarm, idk why he sent one with the ecu lol. I'm 100% sure I got all the grounds but ima double check those connections this weekend. Also kevinpetch say its the jdm harness having different pin outs than the EUR spec ecu. Can you confirm this? I would hate to try to locate another 3sge ecu ugh

AC compressor, AC lines, PS pump, shift linkage, and a box full of many spares. Pm for prices and pm me for any parts request from my st204, who knows I my have it laying around!

I actually made the rhd harness barely fit on the lhd body lol. I hand to cut them out of all the tape to separate them. Its a bit messy but i will extend them and get it professionally wrapped up. Ok thanks for the input, i will try to look at the pinouts for the ecu and harness. Oh and my mom is from bangkok, thailand also "cop kun krap"

Im doing a jdm 3sge gen 3 swap and the darn thing wont even try to crank like the battery is dead. I know im getting power b/c theres a fully charged battery in it plus all lights works ect. Basically i try to turn it over and it doesnt even crank, no response just silent. Any idea everyone? Heres a list of things i swapped in:

-JDM GEN 3 3SGE ENGINE (non beams, just the regular one) + TRANNY
-JDM COMPLETE ENGINE HARNESS (WITH THE FUSE BOX ATTACHED)
-3SGE GEN 3 ECU part numer: 89661-2D490
-ORIGINAL IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER W/ OEM KEY (alarm control built into key)

Note: key, lock cylinder, and ecu came from the same donor Celica located in Unitied Kingdoms (most likely EUR spec st202). Also note that Im using my stock body harness in my 99' celica is a USDM spec st204.

I havent installed the new lock cylinder yet, but will try to soon. Does it really matter that im using EUR spec 3sge ecu on a JDM 3sge and JDM engine harness? Could it be that the ecu i ordered has a immobilizer programmed on it and car isnt responding because im not using the key that came with ecu? And also maybe the pin outs on the ecu dont match up with the engine harness? Well i appreciate any help from anyone who did this swap or have alot of knowledge on these swap, thanks a whole lot in advance!

Hi everyone, im doing a jdm Gen 3 3sge swap in my ST204 and im having difficulties finding some vacuum diagrams to aid me in my swap. I have a good idea where these hoses go to but i would like some concrete info before i plug everything up. I mainly need the diagrams for the vacuum lines coming and going from the intake manifold and the throttle body. BTW this swap is from a JDM ST202.

Does anyone have a pin out diagram for the 3gen 3sge non-beams ecu?

Im looking for a 3 Gen 3sge ecu. I don't want to confuse anybody so I will make it clear, I need it for the regular 3sge and not for the beams. I prefer the 5sp ecu but I can deal with auto ecu.
