okay, i didnt really know where to put this, but since it had something to do with my rear toyota emblem, i decided to put it in here. so my rear emblem fell off about 3 weeks ago when i was washing my car. i didnt think much of it, but when i checked my trunk today, i noticed that my trunk mat was wet, so i looked underneath it. my spare tire dip was filled with water and it was beginning to seap underneath the rear seats. i guess its from the two holes that you stick the emblem in cus theres another hole leading into the trunk on the inside of the hatch. wtf haha. they just had to put a little hole in there for nooooo reason

QUOTE
definately warped rotors. your fluid is low too, most likely because your pads are low meaning the caliper is extended more meaning less fluid in the resevoir. do you hear grinding noises at all when you brake?

no, no grinding noises. i just had an oil change last week and they said they put brake fluid in there, but the light still comes on. is there something wrong with the sensor maybe?

and if i did replace my rotors, would it be all four, or just the fronts?

ive been having this shaky steering wheel problem for a while now. Everytime im at a speed, lets say 40mph+, and i hit the breaks to slow down, my steering wheel gets very very shaky. is this normal or does nobody else experience this? i figured it could possibly be an issue with my rotors being warped or something to that extent. other than that, i have no clue.

also, my e-brake light has been going on and off for quite a while now. it will stay off for a little bit, but after i speed up , it turns back on, then it stays on for a while. and no, my e-brake is not up.

if anyone could help me out with either of these problems, it would be greatly appreciated.

he said something about clipping tho, he said i didnt even have to buy the hu there, they didnt even have a good selection....he said that underpowering them would eventually clip the speakers, meaning the cone would stick to the magnet due to friction

ok. about a month ago, i bought 2 pairs of polk audio db650s from circuit city and the guy told me i'd be fine with my stock head unit (LIAR). after about 3 weeks i installed the backs. i didnt feel like doing the fronts, so i took it to a local car audio shop and said i would clip the speakers if i ran them off my stock deck. he said that underpowering them is as bad as overpowering. i wasnt gonna buy a deck cus i like the stock look on my all black interior, but i was wondering what black mp3 decks are out there for a reasonable price, and where they can be purchased from. any pics will help. thanks.

btw- circuit city SUCKS!

i think ill just make some brackets for the fronts then.

ShadowFX Posted Today, 08:36 AM
i bought these spacers for my fronts to fit 6.5"s,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW
and they work fine, would these work to fit 6.5"s in the back too? or is it a completely different thing?

i dont think they would fit in the back cus its like a rounded square opening and its too small for the speaker, so u would have to girnd something.

gonna start the project today. ill keep u posted and let u know what went down. thanks for the replies.
