Yea, parting it out does sound like fun, but getting caught on insurance fraud probably would suck!! I have that kind of luck too.

Thanks for the advice and keep it coming if you find anything new. I will aim for the 11-12 bracket. Damn I'm loosing money. Serves me right though. Should have saved up and payed cash for upgrades.

Thanks Guys!

Hey guys, I am going over seas and I have to sell my car. I still owe the bank quite a bit of money on my car. b/c of my crappy financing abilities, I am upside down on her. I was dumb and financed the upgrades into my loan. I know I probably won't get close to what I owe $15,933.48 but I need to get as much as I can out of her as quickly as possible. Yall being the experts, what do you sugest I price it at.

99GT 65,000miles. Runs great, no problems with power windows or locks, no leaks, no tears in the leather, this car is very very clean. no broken vents or any little thing, the head liner is in tact and clean, all that stuff. also, check out my profile. I have plenty of mods done that costed me a ton and half. I despratly need help pricing. I have tried and tried to sell at what I owe and I can't even get a single reply. SO, I'm too high. What do yall think I should put the price at. I will obviously have to bite some money, but I need as much as I can out of it.

Please help!!

I would be interested in an all 6th gen meet. I have a pretty hectic schedule. My ship has a lot of underway time scheduled. Infact I'm out to sea right now. Keep me posted on dates and If I can, I will!

That would give me an excuse to detail my car too, I've been lazy.

Yea, it's a bit higher than the ones on Auto trader. But, none of them have a Body kit, new paint job, lowering springs, 17" rims (which are barely 4 months old and costed $1200 by them selves), intake, header and custome exhause. I know that when you put all that stuff on your car you can't expect to get all that money back, but I do think it's worth a percentage back and believe me I am loosing money here. But I am to blame for that.

My celica is extreamly clean, runs perfectly, has power windows, locks and sliding sun roof. The interior is black on black leather seats which are is amazing condition, no rips, tears or cracks. Every last thing on this car works.

Yea, it's priced higher than the other 99 celicas, but the package offered is what makes it all worth it. I would love to keep it, but I just can't afford it right now with all my other financial obligations.

OK, For pics and description check out my profile. It's got 64k Miles on it and runs great. Brand new water pump and feshly flushed radiator. Brakes were just checked and it has 60% life in the rear and 50% in the front. I'm in San Diego California. So if you are from out of state, you will have to arrange the pick up your self and fund it your self. I will only accept cash or money order. You will not recieve the car until the money order clears. Please contact me for any further questions.

Selling for $16,563.81 That is my pay off and that is the absolute minimum I can sell for.

I drove all the way from San Diego. It was a little dissapointing that 70 people signed up and only about 15-20 showed up. The 6 gens need to start showing to these things. I had quite a bit of fun BSing with the 6 gen guys. I expected more of a turn out, but it was still fun. The drive there and back was a flippin blast. I think I enjoyed the road trip more than any thing. If the meet starts at noon, you can't expect to show up 3 hours later and still have evey one there though. Also, one meet shouldn't make a decision like that. We need to make a strictly sixth gen meet, and see what kind of a turn out we can get. I have driven up to Chino twice now, I am ready for a San Diego meet next.

That would look pretty hot. I guess that is the way to go, just measure and cut. The thing you will want to consider is the there is no where for you to crew your fabricsted plate into. You will have to make brackets that connect some where under the console. The bezzel that holds the shift boot just snaps out, it's not solid enouph to mount the aluminum plate to. You would have to measure the opening in the bezzel(which ins't exactly level keep in mind) and may be make some brackets that goe down and mount to the body some where. You could connect the brackets to the 4 screws in the corners of your plate, and still keep the cool look of the screws holding it down. you would want a slight amount of bend to your plate because the bezzel isn't level, but if you take your time and get the exact results you want the first time then I think you will find it more than worth your while. Keep us in touch, I would love seeing pics complete and progress.

So if it's not at the gazebo, then where in the park will it be?

Secondly does any one have the address for the park so I can look up on mapquest.com.

Third Is there any one from the San Diego area that want's to caravan?

I am so excited. This will be my baby's first meet! She just recently got a make over and is ready to go and play.

If your looking for a speed shop and or a body shop, let me tell you where not to go.

I am pretty dissapointed in ENGENUITY for forgetting to instal my HI Flow CAT when they put in my whole new exhaust system. They had to have me bring it back so they could put it in. They are not a shop you want your car at. Unfriendly and forgetful.

Now, the big dissapointment was GOLD CREST AUTO BODY. They flat out suck, they are expensive, and they take too long. I had a small accident, and I mean small like 3 mph rear end. They had my car for 2 1/2 months to fix the front end, put on a body kit and repaint the car. I know I shouldn't expect that kind of a project in any less that 2 weeks maybe 3, but after that, I'm watching my wristwatch. After a month? Come on. Then the guy promises me the paint will be perfect. I told him I was going to be picky, and he still said perfect. There is a blemish on the rear bumper, one on the front bumper, and orange peal on about 20% of the car. I could not believe it. He wants me to reschedule a time to come back in and let him touch up the 2 blemishes, but I don't know if I even want him touching my car again.

Then to make matters worse, The other day I was in a hurry and went to an auto car wash. It did a ****ty job, and on my way out, it was like a 90 degree turn and slightly down hill and a narrow drive, curbs on both sides. So I took it a little wide so as not to scrape rims or the body kit on the inside, well I guess that was a little wide cause cruntch. The drivers side front lip hit the curb. Fiberglass outch.

So I havent got pics up yet, but if ya want to see it, It's a black 99' with a vader kit all around and Virginia tags. Oh yea and a BIG F*&KING CRACK IN THE FRONT LIP. I am a little pissed abokut that. But oh well what can you do.

Thanks for letting me vent, see yall in a week.

hehe i can official put  "supra" on my back end
well i was goin to use a 1-2nd gen symbol that read

"celica supra"
with the old school dragon on top of it

but hey i have a supra headlights custom so
i'm allowed but don't be a poser and just put supra on it cause you want to

rolleyes.gif what kind of logic is that? so you are saying the supra-ness of a supra is derived from its headlights? I think not

a celica supra emblem I can live with .. but not really a fan of emblems in general. just shave it

SHAVE IT!
That is what I did
and it looks like sex in a bottle! <---Slightly biased remark

Not to put a hex on your paint job, but GOOD LUCK. I put my car in to get a body kit and repaint on the 27th of DEC. I just got it back friday. I hope the paint shop your taking your car too is a little more punctual on there time.

No prob. Looks like you got a So Cal meet on the 26th anyway.

Yea, sorry to flake out, but the drive is about a 2-3 hour difference. I think that would be better if I didn't go too far.
