I have an underdrive pulley. The ASP pulley that's in the parts database. I honestly didn't notice much difference if at all. But, when I run my AC, I do notice a difference. It dosn't seem to rob as much power as it used to.

I have 18's on with stock height. I have 215/40 tires. There is a little space between the top of the tire and the wheel well, but check out my picts in my profile.

If you cut your springs, your shocks and struts will go in no time. You should not have to sacrifice a comfortable ride just to drop your car. It's gonna cause nothing but problems for your suspension down the road.

I don't know the weight but I do know that they are very light in comparison to any of the aftermarket rims I have gotten. I just picked up some 18's last year and those weigh a ton as oppossed to the stock rims.

hey, also check out discounttire.com, they also have a thing to see what you car looks like, but also, they have a lot of cheaper rims

That's actually the same site as tires.com. It's just an easier address to remember.

Yeah, your right. For some reason I was thinking 18's. I used to have 17's with a 45 series tire and they just seemed to look a bit big. I didn't bother changing them because of the region that I live in. (The Northeast; Rhode Island to be exact) We have some nasty roads up here due to all the snowplows creating all the ruts. If I lived more in the southern region of the country, I'd be sporting a lower profile tire.

They seem kind of low quality. Not my style either. Check out Tires.com. They have an interactive wheel system where you can see what your car looks like with different kinds of wheels on it.

I'd think that even 45's would be too big. You might want to go with 35's or 40's.

You can fit 19's, but you would have to get some pretty thin tires so you won't have any rubbing. Probably a 35 or even 30 series tire.

I have a different opinion about rockfords they are probably the most overrated sub on the market and the quality just doesn't match the price(wat over priced.) Now, the reason I suggested the sonys is because i have heard them and the sound quality exellent and to top it off they CHEAP. I use to think that sony suck major a$$ but i changed my mind when i got a chance to listen to them. (Aluminum hexagonal cones) True enough they can't handel the power of the rockfords but then again rockfords sound like S***. If you want to get a really really good subs get infinity perfect 10.1s. For the money they are the best.

William tongue.gif

They may not be as good as people say they are, but I haven't had any probs with mine at all. I have 2 10" Rockford fosgate punch Z's and I think they sound great. You have to have the right setup in your car, meaning you can't be pushing too many watts into a low powered sub or you will be blowing it out or loosening the rubber around it. And make sure that you have them out of the sun, because the sun can warp speakers.

The same thing happened to mine, but I just left mine alone. It's not that big of a deal to me and it doesn't seem like it would be a simple fix.

Well, I pretty much have it down to the battery for my current problem. Here's the things that have been happening to me recently...........

- Car was parked and left running for about an hour, then I turned it off. When I went to turn it back on shorty afterwards, it started, but hesitated to do start.

- I had my hazard lights on with the car turned off for about a half hour and I turned her on and she hesitated to start.

- I left my lights on for about 20 min and it totally killed my battery.(Aren't lights
suppossed to last a bit longer than 20 min with the car off?)

It seems like I do alot of weird things to my car, but I drive fulltime for Domino's Pizza and I sometimes get back from a delivery and just leave my car running before I go back out for another one. Anyway, once the car is started up and I'm driving around, I have no power loses, so I would think that would eliminate the possibility of my alternator going. What do you guys think about this? Battery or Alternator?

By the way, what are some good batteries out there. I've had an Interstate battery ever since I bought the car and that would mean that it's been there for at least 110,000 miles. I've heard that Die Hard is pretty good too, but I've never bought a battery before. I'd appreciate some help from you guys. Thanks

I used to have those washer LEDS and I did get pulled over for them. The cop just gave me written warning for them and I think that was when I woke up and realized that the lights were rice. So I disconected them and sanded off all the fake chrome paint off of them to make them clear. The worst thing they can give me in Rhode Island is give me a 5 day tag.

I think it would be helpful if there was an option in which we could do a search on members location(where they are from)

I love racing cars that are a whole lot faster than mine just to see how bad I get beaten by. But I would be insulted if someone drove a circle around me. That's just adding insult to injury.

I can't stop staring at my car after I wash and wax it. It just looks so damn good. But the problem is keeping it clean. I wash it at least once a week due to my work schedule. But, I'm gonna have to agree with some of you guys and say that black does hide the dings and dents as oppossed to the lighter color cars. My car has a nice dent on my rear passenger side behind the wheelwell and there's dings all over it, but you can't see them in the picts that I have in my profile. Check them out.

This one time after a cop wrote up an accident report after some guy backed into my car, he called my car "cute". I said "cute?, It's bad ass." I could tell he was throwing a compliment towards it, but it wasn't exactly what I really wanted to hear.

Anyway, I'd say that our cars are for both guys and girls. I'd say there's a good 50/50 ratio of guys and girls that drive these around, but I've personally only seen guys driving 6th generations that have mods on them.

use 10w 30 in the winter and 10w 40 in the summer.. remeber toyota engine can last forever well maybe not for ever.. but if you take car of it... it might out live you...

This is exactly what I go by. Right now I'm using Valvoline synthetic blend 10W40. I do alot of around town driving, so it heats up relatively easy.

Corvettes and Porsches are very common where I live. Vipers however, are not that common. I honestly love the look of them and just knowing that there's 500 horses under the hood makes me all wet. But, I've heard that the interior isn't all that. Dodge's site dosn't even show any interior shots of it, except for the gauges.

I think the biggest you can go on a 6gc without suspension mods is 19's. But you'd have to get some pretty thin tires to make them fit without rubbing. Tires like that will run you a pretty penny.

Go to court with it. If its the other guy's fault, and you can get the court to say that, it would be way better. Then your insurance will cover it without rising a bit (if you ain't at fault.) That way you can get the nicest repair job not the cheapest. Good luck.

If it's decided that it's not your fault, your insurance wouldn't have to pay for it. The guy who hit you would have to pay for it with his insurance(or the cab company's insurance).

I have Haynes. I think it's quite a piece of crap. I highly don't recommend it.

Who cares if its raining?

I'm with you on this subject. My tires handle very very well in the rain. Rain is a good time for me to race because I have the advantage. Hydroplaning is obsolete.

I'd first go looking around for a junked celli in a junkyard. Maybe you can score one there.
