Well I got into a car crash and the celica is totalled. Im dissapointed as I was upgrading it and it was running o so good. So enlight of that if I do not get another celica I will be selling the header and downpipe and my DR cold air intake. This is not gurranteed yet and I wont know for sure until I get a new car but since celicas are rare around here it doenst look like ill be getting another one. Also it was an ST and the header is the 1.8 L corolla header that was modified to fit the ST I never got the chance to put it on but I bought it off a member from here and he had it on his ST and said it fits fine basically bolt up with a 2.25 in cat back exhaust. Finally I havnt seen the car yet because they took it to a yard but I plan to go see it and take pictures soon and once I do if any one would like to help me post them or have me email them the before and after that would be great. |

I agree if it is done right and if you put some money into getting a good system instead of a cheap one then you could be successful with it. |

Is it common for the engine to burn more oil when it is colder outside because I have noticed a larger drop in mine as well. |

People have asked this question many times but it seems that there are never replies that are solid I would like to know more about this as well from people who actually have used it or currently have it installed. |

Hey Im very angry about this. I cant even drive my car to the local cruise areas or even to any main areas of the city on the weekend nights because of the threat of a ticket/impound. The cops here plan it all out too there will be none of them patrolling and then all of the sudden they will all just show up and start pulling imports over left and right. Also I dont know if you read my previous post about the smog checkpoints that they set up like DUI checkpoints but for smog. They have a few of the undercover cars here a few civics with exhaust and some body mods and window tinting but if you look closely you can see the blue/red lights in the rear window. |

Californias laws are gay. It seems that they have stepped up thier efforts here over summer since a innocent lady's car was hit by two street racers and she died. People doing that in public areas that are highly traveled should be punished but it caused a chain reaction to where there was 20 highway patrol/police patrolling the main cruising area and it got to where they shut down the roads. They also have smog checkpoints. It is profiling because there are lots of muscle/domestic cars that cruise on the same street as all the import guys but only the import guys get pulled over. Tha main thing they get pulled over for is loud exhaust or modified exhaust and then of course the hood gets popped and here come all the other tickets and even a lot of impounding of cars. They had a designated area where people drove their cars to get towed to impound and they had 8 or so tow trucks waiting along with all the cops mention above. Ive rambled on to much now I dont even know if it makes sense but that is what is happening in my area. *edit* You can get tickets for your windows being tinted darker than 35% (only the front though, doesnt apply to back windows). You can also get tickets for having to loud of a stero system in your car.(my cousin who has had this happen to him a few times). It easier though to not get caught for these because you can role down your front windows while you drive and you dont have to turn up your system as loud as it can go. |

If your going to pay that much why not pay a little more. Look in the parts database. I dont know if its working yet but when it is look in there and there should be rotors that are drilled and slotted from i-rotors I think a few people have them on here. |

Well I bought it off of RedSunCelica he was using it on his st. I believe that the down pipe which is all one piece can bolt directly into the furthest back cat. I sent him a pm but im still waiting for a reply to that. I went to an exhaust shop today and they wont do it because it eliminates the first cat and wasnt for the celica specifically. How do we host pics on here so I can post some to give you guys a better idea of how it looks like. |

Alright I recently got a OBX 4-2-1 header that was modified to fit the celica. My question is how hard would the instalation be? When I unbolt the old header and downpipe im pretty sure I can use the same bolts for the new one. Also what kind and how many gaskets would I need. Three most likely right? One for where the header bolts up another for where the header bolts to the downpipe and another for where the downpipe bolts to the cat. Any other useful information that would make the installation easier would be helpful. |

It would be a good idea to start out with the lower shot and see how your motor reacts to that and when you should spray. Then when your are more confident in that everything is set up right you could switch to the 50 shot nozzel. Just my 2 cents. |

How much hp potential does a 4agze engine have if you keep the supercharger and just upgrade it from there? Is there a better more powerful supercharger that could replace the stock one? |
