Not tried the arms from GT4 Racing. I am not keen on refurbished parts or those solid bushes.

Do you have pictures of the suspension without the wheels on?

ok,
no but i can take a few tomorrow if u want.
does the rear suspension often fail? i didn't really think of this at first but the rear suspension might also be the cause for sagging on the right

The bushes in superstrut suspension are not replaceable.

There are two simple tests for SS to check what's worn out. If the front wheels are on you can try rotating the wheels back and forward, there should be no movement within the wheel arch. If there is get an assistant to try the same, while he/she is doing this you need to hold one of three places, put your hand on the joint between the shock and figure 8' if you feel movement here while the wheel is being moved then the figure 8s are gone and need replacing, then move your hand to the join between the fig8 and the lower arm, if you feel movement here then the lower arms are gone. For cost sake I would only replace what you need to.

If these are worn or not I don't see how it will affect the ride height, have you tried swapping the springs over see if the low side swaps over? Would rule out faulty or mis matched springs if the ride height remained the same.

thanks for the advice, will try this as soon as possible.
what do you think of this?
http://www.gt4-racing.eu/index.php/toyota-...suspension-arms
thats a lot cheaper then buying new ones

about the ride heigth. i could try swapping them but i had this problem with my stock spring AND with my new tein springs, so i don't think that could be the problem.
its quite annoying cause the car hangs over much more in a left turn then in a right turn. also, in the rain the front breaks out alot easier in a left turn.

many thanks,
Bram

hi everyone.

I bought my st205 directly from japan 2years ago
when i got the car i had to replace the front shocks with KYB's cause the original ones where far gone.
the car had always been a little lower on the right side then on the left so i thought that the spring might also be worn out.
So a month or 2 ago i installed some tein lowering springs and now the front suspension is knocking so hard, its a shame to drive the car around town kindasad.gif and it still angs lower on the drivers side.
has anyone else had this problem with their 205?
my car has done 127k kms so i think the superstrut might be needing a replacement...

is it best to replace all of the lower arms and fig 8's or will i be ok if i just put new joints and bushes in?

thank you,
Bram

I have these very rare JDM Celica alloy scuff plates for sale. These were only available as a factory option in Japan when the Celica was brand new and is the only set I've ever seen in real-life.

They simply clip in place of your factory plastic scuff panels. Still in very good condition with only light scratches and a couple of small dents. Finished in brushed aluminium. These catch the light really well but I've done my best to photograph them as best as possible.

An excellent way of making your Celica stand out from the rest and add some JDM flare at the same time. Fits all ST202 Celicas.

$140 NZD ($116.50 USD, $120 CAD, $123.50 AUD, £72.73, €85.94) + shipping. Can be shipped worldwide smile.gif

how much shipped to belgium?

Yes. You can just leave it disconnected and vent the charged air to the atmosphere. Some people put a little air filter on them too.

I think he means can the stock BOV fit onto the aftermarket piping

Since he said there was no port/flange on the intake to connect it to, he can just leave it disconnected and venting. It will still function normally not being connected to the intake.

i put the hose that goes to the intake in the blow off valve and started the engine, when i disconnect it, the car stops running
the hose doesn't fit properly so i cant just leave it like that
also i think toyota vented the air to a seperate room in the air filter for a reason cause otherwise they would have just connected it straigt to the intake right? or wont it make any difference if i just connect them without the air box?

hello,

i have a 95 celica GT FOUR and yesterday i found an old intake i had lying around.
the intake fitted directly onto my stock intake hose. the only problem is that i can not longer connect my blow off valve
is it possible to keep the stock BOV and use the intake?
