Thanks for the replys guys, im still searching for some wheels (anything that looks good in the same size) so I can keep my tires.

One was bent enough to cause vibration, the other only slightly.

When I can get home, ill see about getting them repaired (didn't know that was possible). I live in Georgia with people who can't drive in snow, so I may be stuck at school for a while kindasad.gif

If anyone has these laying around, please let me know!

Bummmmmmmppppppp......im doing my conversion soon and these wheels are in my way. Lol.

I'd be all over these if I didn't have to get tires for them. I'm REALLY hoping someone has a few factory BBS wheels laying around, my tires still have ~60% tread left.

I hit a pothole and bent both of my drivers' side wheels, I have tried almost all of my local junkyards/eBay/craigslist with no luck. I can't find these things. frown.gif

You know you want it.

I do want it, but I'm sure I can't afford it!

Subaru BRZ all the way!

If I had that kind of money to drop down on a car I'd just buy a Vette.

It's expensive now, but give it a few years and some used ones may go up for sale. The Celica I bought for $2500 a few years ago was bought for $20,715 by the original owner in 1995. Depreciation FTW.

How big is the gap supposed to be? It's .5cm in some spots and doesn't look intentional. The gap is also not mentioned in the service manual.

I'm going to feel really stupid if its supposed to be that way!

Not at the moment... But us easy ti explain.... There's a link in this site that shows you how to paint window trims? http://www.6gc.net/howto/paint_window_trim
So the gap is in the top part between the window trim and the roof.... At this time I don't have the car because she is going to get imported to Mexico... Sorry... Hopefully on Thursday I will have the car with me?? An I will take the picture!

Actually, that's all I need to know. I have the exact same problem that you do on both sides of the car and I need to paint those pieces anyway. When I take them off to paint them, I'll see if I can fix the gap.

Anyone else have this problem?

Well I just bough my 6g Celica and it has this big gap in the window trim (lh) and in looks bad because the other side is in better shape.... I'm new at this forum.... Let me know...

I'm also new here, but if the gap is the one shown in the photo of your celica, your window just needs to be adjusted.

To do that, you need to remove the inner door panel and adjust the upper stops in the door panel.

The first part of this guide will help you remove the panel:

Hope this helps and welcome to 6gc!

The thin piece of plastic that prevents the loss of coins in the shifter has broken. frown.gif

I haven't been able to find one in a junkyard and I know some of you have done auto-manual swaps before, so does anyone have one of these lying around?

There is a pic of the damage here: http://www.6gc.net/celicas/gerbils-celica-14853

Just hooked up a new head unit. Plugged in all the wires besides one that was orange/yellow (I think the dimmer.) Had stock amp installed and had to unplug it and use a wiring harness adapter. Both back speakers work, front right speakers works, front left only the tweeter works. Any ideas? This is a 95 gt convertible, btw, and it's a pain in the ass. It has the 6 speaker set up.

I guess basically I am asking if they are interconnected and my speaker is broken or is it a wiring issue?
I don't know if the speaker worked before because I never messed with the fade or balance on the stock amp.

Also, if I have to replace the speakers, could you all suggest something that has a wide range for under $40 a speaker? I want midbass, midrange in front and a couple of coaxials in the back. I know

Maybe somebody could point be to a low power (25w rms) mid-bass speaker?

If you are using stock speakers like I was, the speaker may be dead. I replaced the front with a pair of PolkAudio DXI 650s and I'm pretty pleased with them apart from having to be a bit clever about mounting them. You can narrow the problem down to the speaker by hooking it up to the other door to see if it works.

Hope this helps and good luck!
