Hi, i was looking through my garage storage box with parts that i've taken off a friends 94 celica ST hatchback when his car was rolled over off the hill trying to make a sharp turn. The parts are still in good condition.

okay, i have a lot of people offering me for the fog. first off, the only minor issue with the fog is that the screw that is to attached the fog with the brackets on it are not there. Because they were rusted so i had to use my dremel tool to cut the screw out. and for me to place it on the car, i needed to screw on the brackets first then put the fog lights on and screw that onto the brackets. However, i added the aluminium screw that works just fine. or you can find another screw that would fit it as well. It's still in great shape. anyone still interested, pm me.

Actually i was the driver. and yeah, i survive. lucky me. that was the 2nd accident i had in two different celica. the first one a buddy of mine, i was the passenger, were driving down the freeway in Delano, near Bakersville, CA. Driving a little fast, my buddy slam on the brakes to prevent and collision with a 18 wheeler, the car move to the shoulder and hit the on-ramp curve and few up into the air and roll over 2-3 times. and the pic now is the one that a new driver, supposing took the eye off the street for a second and next thing she knows it was a red light and she decidec to go pass it. while, i was on the green arrow making a left turn, that's when she slam into me. Yeah, but thanks for the concern.

cwm13.gif Were you sitting in the passengers seat??? Glad you're alive after a "ding" like that... owch!

Actually, i dont' know if the car is still there. it was a while back in early april when they took my car. I don't know where they took it to. But if i pass by the junkyard, i'll check it out for you.

QUOTE(LewFX @ Jul 19, 2007 - 5:38 PM)

if you get back to the junkyard, can you get the under plastics and the passenger wheel well plastic?

The only damage was to the driver side, the front windshield cracked due to the impact. the Hatch, was still in excellent shape. however, the car is not in my possession no more, after the insurance declared the car totalled. they paid me for it and took the car to the junkyard somewhere. I should have ask where they were taking it to. I wasn't thinking straight. The riser block i sold it to a friend and gave the lip to another friend. I also had OEM front and rear splitter on the car, which i took it off before i've taken those pic. I sold them as well.

OUCH!!!
Was the hatch badly damaged as well? i bet someone could use that so they can put a 2 post on their car. if you were closer i would get it off you. sorry to hear about your car. do you still have the lip and risers from your profile pics?
sorry to see another celi bite the dust.

not too hard. when you take it off.. take time to clean the pan. a steel brush and plenty of blades will do the trick. Use Toyota RTV.. They don't dry instantly.. [only RTV we use.. ]

Consist of plenty of 10mm bolts

hey 6gc's owners. well i have a problem. Some kind of oil is leaking under my car a littler further up near the oil drain bolt. I did my oil change a month ago and while under the car, i noticed the area near my oil pan, the passenger cv boot were all greased up. I scan through the whole underneath of the car to the area i'm guessing it could be leaking from. I know it's not from the oil drain bolt cuz there weren't that much oil from there. but when i slide my finger across where the oil pan is screwed onto, where i'm guessing there should be a seal, it was pretty oily. So my question is that if anyone had remove the oil pan and place a new seal on their oil pan. if so, is it easy to do yourself, or do it require a lot of work. Need your guys help on this. or if there's another reason where the leak can be coming from. thanks for your time 6gc owners.

any chance that this would fit on a gt4 bumper? -- if so i'm interested

$95

I don't think it will fit the gt4 bumper. Most likely the 94-95 front bumper.

Hi everyone. Well i have a Varis Extremor front lip for sale. Reason for selling is because i have the front and rear splitter on my car. However, the bad thing about it is that it's not a perfect fit on the car. There's like a gap, about 1/2 an inch to where the lip would be wrap around the front bumper, can be seen in my the profile with the font view of the car. It will need some bundling to refitted perfectly on the car. The paint job isn't really as great of a condition since i try to do it myself. I bought this from a previous owner and eversince i got my oem splitters, it has been in store up in my garage. If anyone is interested, make an offer. Pic can be found in my profile or on this site under the body kit guide.

Well, from previous experience, i once own a 1988 celica and i kept having this same problem of overheating. I change the thermostat and still, same o' problem. so i talk to a couple of my friends about this and they said the way they "solve" this problem was by putting a "manual switch" connecting to the wire from the thermostat. with this, whenever the temp guage is above normal, i would turn the switch on that will then turn on the cooling fan to cool the radiator down. It work. But i'm not really sure if it's the case with your celica. I'm thinking that there may be a bad circuit between the thermostat and the fan that should cool down the radiator or engine when it begins to overheat.

Alright celica owners, it seems like my 95 celica Gt is having trouble picking up speed once it reaches around 80mph, plus, around that point, there's is a slight burning smell, i don't know what it is. i think something might be burning inside my engine...maybe clutch??....but i just replaced it in march 2005. On the freeway, going from 60 mph to 80mph on fifth gear is alright but once after it reaches past 80, the car doesn't pull as strong. is there a limit for the celica MPH?...i know the car can go higher like 90 or 100, but my celica seems to be having trouble going to those speed. Any help celica owners?....can there be something wrong in my engine?? Thanks -jAzn95GT

Hey everyone, i just replaced my spark plugs yesterday with some NGK V-Power (Resister Type) got them for $1.99 a piece at Kragen. It's all good. But while taking out the old ones, i found there were some small cracked kinda white and looks like it was burned or something....but it was on the treads of the old spark plugs..i wasn't sure what was it. if it's something serious or not, but if anyone know what that it, it can be a lot of help. Oh yea...it felt like it was plastic. Thanks everyone.

well i'm also looking for some spark plugs and spark plugs wire. I've been trying to get some MSD spark plug/wire but couldn't find any for the Celica. It's weird. I've came across some NGK (iridium), Denso (iridium), and Nology. From what i heard, iridium kind of spark plugs are very good. And i heard from a friend saying that too much spark can "burn the piston"???....i never heard of that but i don't want to take any chances..if anyone know if that's true or not let me know.

My car is having trouble starting in the cold morning. I have to press gas for a while until the car is capable of running by itself. Some pointer from the 6gc forums says maybe it could be the cold start injector...other say that using the 10w-30 motor oil is better during these cold times. Try pressing gas to maybe help it out to see if the car could run for a while. well good luck with your car, hopefully you find the answer. -jAzn95GT

Yep, i would agree with snarfer. it must be the CV joint. Mine CV boot is torned from the passenger side and it makes noises while turning. I was thinking about replacing it but i was waiting till my driver side CV axle is wearing down too. Because i don't want to have to replace one now and then later having to replace the other. It'll save me time...but hopefully i'll be safe with it for a while... jAzn95GT

My friend says that the Valves may need to be align. Instead of taking it to the shop, i'm thinking about it doing it myself. But what would i need. Also, what is the alignment hieght of the valve. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -jAzn95GT

No, there's no vaccum leak, and i think the O2 sensor is still in. Starting the car is fine after the morning start problem. i think it might be too cold and the car just need to warm up. Because after that is done, starting the car is just fine. But i'm not really sure why it's like this. I have to test out what wuhukf and gnetik have suggested. Thanks guy guys.

Hey guys, i have a starting problem with my 1995 Celica GT. Every morning when i start up my car, it will start up and then died out. I would have to stable my rpm for a couple of minutes until my car engine is able to run with my feet off the gas pedal. I don't know what the problem might be, i thought it may be the spark plugs or wires. but i'm not sure. Any helps would be great. Thanks
