Grounds don't really matter, there are all going to the same place, the battery. I'm trying to do this right though, previous owner has spaghetti wires that causes humming noise and got it shorted to a power wire that causes it to stay on and kill the battery. Another question is which one is the ACC wire, cause it seems like I can't get the radio to power on, It does have battery voltage so I'm guessing I grabbed the wrong wire for the ACC?? |

I couldn't find a diagram specifically for the 95 celica gt?? I found one for the st205, but there is 2 grounds?? 1.) sgnd - brown color NO. 12 on diagram 2.) egnd - thick white with blk stripe NO. 11 on diagram I found an st205 wiring diagram but wasn't sure if it applies on st204 chassis. which ground if I'm connecting an aftermarket radio?? previous owner butchered the old wiring and plug so I'm soldering the wires to the amp wiring harness. |

replace all the seals. and be extra careful with replacing the oil pump seals. they are very thin. But i should be good without replacing the oil pump itself right? as long as there's no weird noises and im not losing oil pressure..?? and any specific brand i should use? or can i just go to local autozone,o'reilly's and pick one up? |

So i got a 95 celica gt, with 2.2l engine, i was backing up this morning and notice an oil leak spot on my driveway, and was trailing. it seems to be coming from the oil pan gasket, but near where the front oil pump meets the engine, plus it leaks oil continously when running? so im guessing the oil pump seals? oh yeah the car is a high mileage car.. im planning on engine swap but not anytim soon since the engine still runs strong and compression still good accross. can i just go by replacing all the gasket and seals, or should i replace the oil pump and all the seals? and does anyone have a write up on diy?? |
