Ive been reading on some information about this problem and I'm not finding anything good. if this needs a rebuild gonna be a long summer.

Hey guys. So as I was coming home yesterday on the highway, I started hearing a ticking sound coming from the engine.
Got home and looked up that it could have been the oil level and mine was low so I added oil. The ticking since stayed and now smoke is pouring out the tailpipe. Not sure where something is wrong. I just got a catback exhaust installed two daa ago but it wasn't having problems at all so I don't think it's that. Also read it could be a leak somewhere but i don't know why so much smoke would be given off for that.

wires have never been changed on the car as far as i know. odometer is at 214xxxx miles

so try new wires?

So im going to start out by saying i got an ebay header for my 1.8l about 2-3 weeks ago because of the old manifold cracking in multiple spots. We had it installed but no other exhaust piping was changed. (i do have a flowmaster exhaust though, dont know if that means anything.) So i drove it for about a week all fine. obviously somewhat louder and some rattling most likely due to something being loose or hitting against the undercarriage. Then about 2-3 days ago I started it up left the house and half way on my trip, it felt as if i was driving on a complete flat. no flat but went back home and on the way it just felt as it kept being pulled back let go pulled back let go. asked the mechanic, he said change the plugs. so i did. no change. then we adjusted the timing just a bit. I dont really know anything about that so i let them do what they thought. that stop and go/flat feeling while driving went away. NOW, i will drive and obviously i know my car and the clutch but it seems that ill let the clutch out a little to fast now and it will misfire just a bit mostly at 1st and 2nd gears sometimes 3rd. only when i let the clutch out to fast which isnt fast at all since i tried going slower. But in 1st and 2nd gear it will misfire a good amount going up some small hills. once i get speed going though im relatively fine. Everything before installing the header was fine so thats why i included all that. the flat tire/pulling feel and misfiring started when we dropped into low temperatures here in new england. just some xtra info.

interesting. i havent read or seen of anyone riding on them for the celica. any reasons you think?

ngk plugs are what i get usually but for wires ive seen different ngk wires on these forums. Like heavy duty ones, the regular blue line ones. Whats more recommended to get. Any input is good Thanks

Do they make Tein coilovers for a 6GC? my buddy and I were just talking about it and I wasnt even sure.

So as winter blows by in New England I'm finally in the hunt for a set of coilovers for my 1994 celica st since i finally got rims for her. I looked through my options accounting budget and Megan Racing EZ streets series coilovers seem to be my choice. found some on ebay but it says this would not be "compatable" to my car since its an st. from what i was told they are just dirty and he sent me a picture of one rim where the center is just chipping paint on the plastic. i was probably going to end up dipping them anyways though

is $120 a fair deal for 4 15" alloys? tires included but theyre gone anyways so going to need to buy new ones anyways

Will 7th gen GT-S rims fit on my 94 celica coupe without a problem? the gt-s rims have a bolt pattern of 5x100 and are 16x6.5 inch.

Im not trying to remove the whole antenna but i want to get it to go all the way down. mine just stops going down right at the end. someone help please.

Whats up guys. New to this forum posting so bear with me. I've recently obtained a set of tailights and a set of clear front indicators off a 97' hatch GT celica. Only problem is I have a 94' ST coupe celica. Neither of the 2 pairs will fit onto my car so i have no need for them. Here are a few pictures

Drivers side bottom left corner


Drivers side top middle dime size crack

As you guys can see the drivers side tailight is a little beat up. the break in the bottom corner is about the size of a pinky. and the crack on the top is covered completely by a dime so they arent too big. passenger side tailight is in great condition.
