im putting a new engine in my car because of the same problem. i drove my car with a rod knock for 9 months and i just now parked it, while i come up with some money to make the swap. you could rebuild it but most shops i talked to said it would be cheaper to just have a used engine put in.

haha i got rid of my hub caps too but i left my not so sweet rally style rims on anyway.

i would have to agree about the bronze or gold. They are my personal prefrence and they might look good on your car but then again the might look not so hot. as far as size, i like smaller wheel sizes like 15" and 16"

i like the look of the R1 alot better than the others.

that box under the arm rest (center console) is the control unit and all i have to do is disconnect.

i just wanted one to talk to ppl. and the antenna is only a 2ft. firestick fyi. but i do like the idea of a scanner and a ham, i even have my licinse


any info on the scanner (like brands and prices)

my buddy has built a couple of those, and they do get around. i'm not sure of the gear ratio in 4lo but i know it walks all over my YJ's. oh well its more about having fun for me.

A while back my air bags were deployed, and other than the obvious fix (taking out the light in the gauge cluster), is there any other way to make the light go out. I'm not planning on having the air bags recharged or anything along those lines.

I was thinking about putting a CB radio in my celica and i was wondering if anyone has ever done this before? I hiding it in the glovebox was my first thought but i thought i would ask just in case someone knew of a better idea. Should i actually install one, im pretty sure i would mount the antenna in the rear opposite the FM antenna.
