Well I have got rid of the celica very sad to see it go but am quite fond of the replacement. It is a 2001 Subaru B4 legacy about 120,000km less than the celica, half leather and Bilstein shocks all round, love having 4wd on icy mornings biggrin.gif

The old

The new

I think the bronze should look real good with your car colour, I considered going gold or bronze when I got my wheels still wish I did sometimes ( My car is a similar colour)

As opposed to the Atezza which is more garden variety

Well, after about four years of celica ownership I think it is getting near time to move on.

Last week I was thinking of dropping some more money into doing up the celica when I decided that seeing it has 179000km on the clock any large amounts of money spent on it would be a waste on a tired motor, so I went down to the local toyota dealership when I have found either a GT-T caldina wagon (yes that is the 3sgte one) or a Atezza ( japanese Is200- with 3s-ge beams) they also had a '98 GT4 celi which was tempting but I am over only having two doors.

I am trying to convince myself (and my girlfriend) that I can keep the celica too but will see how it goes

I use this a small amount for work, it is fun, but a bit restrictive, there are a couple of 6gc's for download on the 3d warehouse.

That turbo kit is for 3sge engines though anyway, isn't it?

It is a New Zealand website and the majority of celicas here are either 3s-fe or 3s-ge I would assume it is for one or both of those.

As for the turbo kit...NO! (smacking you with something) That kit is way too much! Almost 6 grand! Check out the FI section, definitly some better prices.

Thats true deserved a smack round the head, esp. seeing a spotted a gt4 on a yard for $11K

I am quite keen on the mountain biking too, at the moment I either use a stoopid thing that relies on straps and hooks, or just stick the bikes in the hatch (3 is my record)

bringin it back from the dead...hows the job market over there for mechanics? also whats the cost of higher education over there?? IE college university.

I am not sure about the job market for mechanics, but as a whole we have pretty low unemployment at the moment. As far as higher education costs I managed to find this which will at least give you some indication of costs.

Hope this helps smile.gif
