So on my relays it says that i have 3 fans, but i only see 2, which are the radiator fans. Only 1 fan kicks on, which is the bigger one. I replaced a relay that said "fan number 2" but the fan still doesnt kick on, anyone know what fans number 2 and 3 are? If it helps i have a 7afe

So with my celli i see i have 2 fans on my radiator and i was wondering does it only start off with 1 fan until the car gets really hot? Cause i drove for maybe 5ish minutes with my ac on full blast trying to get the car is hot as possible which it got to around halfway on the temp gauge and still not action with the second fan. Any input please?

If you're driving a 5sfe. The fan takes FOREVER!!!! to turn on. Unplug the switch on the bottom of the radiator. Both fans should kick in and turn on.

Its a 7afe

I loved mines when i had my Celica. I say go for it.

Thanks for the feedback!!

I have just ordered them off of eBay. I currently have the KYB G2 struts with Teins which I regret getting because this last winter in Chicago had me getting stuck in the snow because of the low the setup. I have heard great things about the Megan EZ Street series from different car forums like club lexus. Supposedly they're cheaper than most coilovers and they're better for daily driving which is what I use this nice economy celica for. I can't wait til I test them out. biggrin.gif

Let me know how they are! I knew they'd get picked off if i posted it x)

So i have a fairly big crack on my exhaust header, i was wondering what are the effects of this? Performance wise does it affect it or long term effects etc. is it worth buying another one at a junk yard?

I just went to Ebay. "Celica ST header" Less than 80.00 shipped. You will have to have them extended on the bottom but it was no big deal. Not really worth putting a 500.00 header on a 115hp car. You won't gain horsepower but it will make it sound a little better.

Are you talking about these? http://m.ebay.com/itm/400381211505?nav=SEARCH
Because i ordered those, and yes the downpipe is short but the actual header didnt match up to the threads.. Almost like it needed to be drilled out more where the holes are redface.gif otherwise i only saw headers for a 2.2l and i thought those wouldnt fit a 1.8l

Looking for aftermarket headers for a stock 7a-fe engine, completely new to all this engine work and having a hard time finding parts for my celi, if anyone knows a reliable website or something PLEASE let me know or anyone selling this part. Also the upipe that connects to it

I think I saw some DCheaders in 2kracing.com if that's not the website when I get home I'll post the correct web site for you also I think there made for a 1.8L motor not sure if its for the 7a but they should fit.
Or go to the DCheaders web site you should find them there. They go for 299.99 or 399.99 pretty expensive stuff

Good luck on your search. I'll get you more info later

Thank you! But mine is the 7a-fe 1.8l if thats what youre talking about tongue.gif

I bought carb cleaner and was gonna clean all that junk out of my intake. A buddy told me that to spray it into my air intake piping. But he mention about a maf sensor, and i told him i couldnt find one.. So i was curious to as if anyone knows what a stock 94 st has?? Besides stock i have an Injen intake. Idk if that changes anything so i was curious, any answers?? Unless it has a map sensor? I'm confused

So I have an important question, if i'm correct.. there is 2 o2 sensors on a 7A-FE 94 St? One on the headers and one on the up pipe that connects to it. Well on the new up pipe i have, there is no placement on the pipe for the o2 sensor.. but there is a port for the sensor on the new headers i have. With that in mind, how would the car run without the bottom sensor? i've heard it CAN run a little harsh and also that it won't pass emitions which is a concern for me. But if i have the top sensor will it be okay and will it pass? i've also heard something about it not reading the 4 cylinders w/o one, if anyone can explain this to me.. smile.gif

If you want N/A 4 cyl go BEAMS Red Top from a st202 SSIII. (200 ish HP - Not terribly cheap, but easy)

If you want N/A 6 cyl go something like the 1MZ V6 swap. (200 ish HP - Cheap, but more custom parts - lots of people doing it atm though)

If you want to play turbos do it right and get the 3rd gen 3S-GTE out of the st205. (UNLIMITED HP - MUAHAHAHAHA tongue.gif..... seriously though, like 240 HP stock but cheaper to bump up then the other options)

smile.gif

I think i'll save up for the st 202 for a while x) do you know a good price for them?

Hi so i'm new to all this, i just got my 94 celica st about a month ago due to me getting in a wreck with my other car and i'm more than happy with this bish! I'm also wanting to learn more about it, i've been really looking into turbo setups, like i said i'm new to all this and i need opinions/ ideas on what i need for a decent turbo. I want to slowly build it myself, not just take it into a mechanic shop or some bs like some of my friends do. All thats done to it is an Injen cold air intake, i really want to do engine work to add hp and worry about looks later (besides the rims it came with). I'm really interested in all this, so does anyone have any recomendations on what turbos to use, BOV's, intercoolers ect.

I need opinions and recomendations people, i also need to know the importants of what i need for a turbo haha i'm a virgin when it comes to this, please help and thank you!
