Thanks for replying mate. I don't think I do have a boost controller fitted. Surely if I did the boost would hold at this which it doesn't its usually just below 1 bar which Is about right. It's only when I'm at high revs with the throttle fully open it seems to happen. I'm not sure if it is spiking or creeping as since its such a small amount I find it hard to tell. Do you have any ideas of what it could be or things I could check? Thanks |

Hi guys I'm new to celica a and turbo cars in general. I just bought a celica gt4 st205 wrc with a few mods. It has cat back exhaust and induction kit. It also has a turbo timer with boost gauge. I just had a few questions I was wondering if anyone could clear up. The boost gauge is digital and connects upto what was a plugged port on the back of the intake manifold. I was wondering if this is an ok place to put it? Also my boost gauge saves your peak level and this seems too high to me it records it as 1.13 Bar. I do not have the boost turned up. It seems to hit this level when I floor it then drop back down to 0.95 roughly. Is that normal? If not what could be causing it? Thanks in advance people |
