I bought a pair of brand new JDM taillights straight from japan but never put them on my celi. Now I'm planning on selling my car sometime soon so I might as well try to make my money back on the lights.

It's posted up on Ebay. If Noone buys it there, then I'll see if someone wants to buy it straight up in here.
check them out...

gains will be pretty insignificant...

ok so it's ruled out kindasad.gif

if you're doing a valve job anyway and will have the head off... it wouldn't hurt anything... but don't be expectant of gains. AND... don't go crazy with the amount you get taken off...

thanks for the info, and sorry bout the other post.

I have a little ST but... 1. I don't have the money for a swap until after I graduate from architecture school and 2. I like my car and I want to keep it till I'm through with college, and then have it become my project car.

For right now I want to get the most power from her that I can but...
it turns out my car is burning oil and I have to have a valve job done on it and have the head machined. If i'm going to go through all that trouble, should I also look into having the head shaved a little, for more compression in order to get just a LITTLE more power? Or should I just rule it out?

I'm not a mechanic so if anything I said is wrong, please correct me.

Thanks!

Ehmmm ka0s if you are talking about the Blow-off valve then the answer of maikl is correct but if you talking about turbo boost valve it is the valve that you can adjust the turbo boost.

No. I know what a blow off valve is. I know that fuel pressure regulator allows you to adjust the fuel pressure but the boost valve I'm talking about goes on non-turbo cars... http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/pro....mhtml?id=29368
it says says it increases the fuel pressure 1.7 times.

So my question is... are they the same? with the only diff being that one is adjustable and one isn't?

I see sites selling Boost Valves and other sites selling JDM Fuel Pressure Regulators. Now aren't they the same thing? If not, how do they differ?

confused.gif ok guys.... WTF is going on here?! I'm only getting about 280 miles per tank!!!! I just bought new spark plugs which I'm about to install... Do you think I'm going to notice a BIG difference if I change the O2 sensors?? I'm a rough driver, but I really don't think my mileage should be THAT bad! frown.gif

I'm looking to drop my car but I don't want a drastic drop nor do I want my ride to suffer so much.
Currently, I have 17" Motegi FF6's on my car and I'm deciding on some Dropzone Springs with a Lifetime Warranty that will drop my car 1.5 inches all around OR on some Megan Racing Springs that will drop my car 2 inches in the front, and 1.75 inches in the rear. confused.gif Anyone have any experience will any one of these items? Let me know!!
